Imagine if they stayed

KAAYA DIDN'T LEAVE BECAUSE HE WANTED TO... COACH RICHT GRACIOUSLY ESCORTED HIM OUT ON A MEDIA FLUFFED HIGH NOTE RIGHT AFTER HE HANDED BRAD THE DEFINITION OF"DUAL THREAT" ....

That exactly what happened.

These Stats were not good enough for Rick:

Completions: 261 Attempts: 421 %: 62.0 Yards: 3532 TDs: 27 INTs: 7

All those stats but when it mattered most and the game on the line he literally NEVER came through. It was time for him and UM to move on.

Can't say I disagree. However, I thought Rick would have made Kaaya better in big game situations. He did not. They both stunk it up!

Imagine if all those quitters didn't bail on their brothers, what would our roster look like.
Yearby, Gus Edwards, Jenkins, Linder, Odogwu, Allison, **** Even Kayaa bailing on us for a seventh round pick and the others that don't come to mind. If they don't want to be Hurricanes, then see ya, we don't want you.

But, wow, if we would have kept them.

Imagine if you never posted..how much better this forum would be.
I love this board. A recruit poster with 66 posts dissing another recruit poster who has 16 posts. This board kicks ***. Nothing but entertainment and nonsense.

Edwards, Linder and Allison can kick rocks. None was any good. Courtel and Odogwu would have been serviceable backups but neither is a difference maker. Kaaya is not the quarterback we need for this offense.

Ol depth is a major concern. So yea honestly we could use Sonny and Linder as backups. Anybody who says otherwise is lying to themselves. Although them quitting speaks to their character. At the very least they provided experience on the most physical unit on the team. It would be morre ideal to have a experience guy who knows his assignment (even if he doesnt execute it all that well ) as opposed to a green freshman who blows his assignment and allows a sack or gets the QB killed.

Agreed!

If you are going to take the time to create this thread and include all those guys, why not include Njoku? Other than Kaaya he would be the only returning starter

Its a 100% guaranteed fact that Linder would do the exact same thing as a Senior with experience.

You guys can make an argument for Dogwu, but Linder under no circumstances whatsoever would've provided any meaningful depth.

He was just plain God awful, some of yall seriously have amnesia or just didn't watch the games, but Linder was nothing but a liability the entire time he started for us last year.

If you wanna say we'll miss Dogwu or could've used him, then fine, I'll give you that.

I will not move or concede on Linder, no no no... Absolutely not. **** the **** naw. Losing him was addition by subtraction, he was terrible & probably one of the worst Interior lineman in school history.

He gave us ZERO depth, experience be damned.

So your saying addition by entitled scared pu$$ys. Not sure I follow.

Agreed. Linder was a liability who lacked both strength and athleticism. If something were to happen to Gauthier, I'd be much happier to see Gaynor in at center. Same with an injury at guard.

Sonny would not have been a starter on this OL. He wouldn't be the first man in at the interior OL positions. If KC goes down, Darling would have slid over and Gaynor comes in at LG. The only place where he might have been the first man up is with an injury at RT... maybe.

Beyond that, I would have been happy to keep Yearby for another season, but he was never going to stay because of his financial situation. I have a hard time faulting the young man (or staff) for him leaving under those circumstances.

Maybe some of those guys needed to be gone for a full turnover to take place. generally when a guy leaves with a coaching change there is usually a philosophical disagreement. In short both parties are better off that they left.

So Yearby left a full scholarship with free room, free food, and free education so that he can do what? There is a reason why we are not a top educational institution when we have students making decisions like this after 3 years.

Still ****ed he bounced. That boy had some shake and was fun to watch in the open field.

Give me Yearby, Haskins & Willis.

The rest we don't need.

I kinda like Gus over Yearby on our current RB depth chart.
And maybe he could've done some FB work here and there.

Please explain why. Just curious.

First. I'd love to have either on roster. If given a choice, id take Gus w current situation

25-30 lbs and set 364 power clean record at Miami (as sophomore). Record was McGahee's

Yearby 40 at combine 4.7 and 4.74
Gus 40 in 2015 ran 4.51 (not sure if hand timed)

YPC
Gus 5.3
Yearby 5.4

We have very little Depth at RB and FB. I think Gus could play FB. He did in HS

I would not expect anyone to stay who's a projected 1st rounder! Go get paid!

I think the bozos who keep mentioning Linda as a "loss" have never actually watched our games. Straight up addition by subtraction, and that irrefutable.

Experience doesn't mean jack **** if all your experience is getting run over and humiliated.

Agreed! 100%. He was horrible, no strength or even technique.

I see you idiots still think whatever we trot out at QB will somehow be better than Kaaya.

In 3 week this board will be clamoring for The Stone Footed Sloth.
