Imagine if all those quitters didn't bail on their brothers, what would our roster look like.
Yearby, Gus Edwards, Jenkins, Linder, Odogwu, Allison, **** Even Kayaa bailing on us for a seventh round pick and the others that don't come to mind. If they don't want to be Hurricanes, then see ya, we don't want you.

But, wow, if we would have kept them.

Lol I see upgrades at every position on the team now in comparison to the names you mentioned.

I can't really see what help that Allison was going to be. Someone other the Rok please tell me what Gus has ever done to warrant him being "missed".

Gus would have brought an unparalleled physicality to our running game. He could have softened the defense which would have allowed more room for Mark Walton and Travis Homer.

KAAYA DIDN'T LEAVE BECAUSE HE WANTED TO... COACH RICHT GRACIOUSLY ESCORTED HIM OUT ON A MEDIA FLUFFED HIGH NOTE RIGHT AFTER HE HANDED BRAD THE DEFINITION OF"DUAL THREAT" ....

Give me Yearby, Haskins & Willis.

The rest we don't need.

Great point! I would take it a step further, in which I would argue that for this season, we may only miss Yearby and Haskins. Willis sitting out this year is a blessing in disguise. Molten and Bethel should serve as solid backups with Ford providing quality snaps during the second half of the season.

You named a decent amount of backups there.

Ol depth is a major concern. So yea honestly we could use Sonny and Linder as backups. Anybody who says otherwise is lying to themselves. Although them quitting speaks to their character. At the very least they provided experience on the most physical unit on the team. It would be morre ideal to have a experience guy who knows his assignment (even if he doesnt execute it all that well ) as opposed to a green freshman who blows his assignment and allows a sack or gets the QB killed.

You also can get killed by having a Linder thrown at you.

meh, them leaving and giving their more talented, but younger backups more practice/game reps will be a greater overall benefit to the team than having their depth would have been.

That exactly what happened.

These Stats were not good enough for Rick:

Completions: 261 Attempts: 421 %: 62.0 Yards: 3532 TDs: 27 INTs: 7

All those stats but when it mattered most and the game on the line he literally NEVER came through. It was time for him and UM to move on.
