He's not coaching well, but there's an adjustment period everywhere for everyone. It's not an excuse, but I'll give him another year. There is something wrong with Kaaya, and I'm not blaming Richt for it. He's either hurt physically or hurt mentally, and I think it's more mental. The OL is atrocious, and Richt made comments to that in the spring (their size...where are the big guys?). Flying banners right now is dumb. Sorry, it's dumb. If Richt is stubborn and doesn't make changes after the year, I'll be upset, and if next year is more of the same, I'll be upset. Richt is not a bad coach. I still don't think the game has passed him by. I still he can win here. If he doesn't (and not this year, you can't judge anyone in one year), I'll gladly eat crow.

Everyone wants to be the first to say "I was right, Richt was the wrong hire," like people claim to have been with Golden that it's going to be like this with every coach we have from here on out. And I don't want hear about Herman. He never wanted to come here, and his Houston team sucks this year. I still think he's a good coach, but he'll be at Texas next year, and there is no doubt in my mind that Butch would not be any better this year at Miami.

Anyway, the 9,000 fire Richt threads are annoying as ****, but do what you want, I'm done arguing with people who are irrational. It's like politics.

I can not give up on a man in his first year with a new program. I don't like the way he is coaching the offense right now but I still believe in him. People can say what they want but I want to see what he does with recruiting and bringing in better players. I also believe that Brad is not a good fit with him and would like to see what happens when Brad goes to the NFL.

I can't wait for the I loves Richt post when he's hoisting the college football playoff trophy in 3 years.

Really no choice in the matter.

I will say, though, that, in the face of near disaster, it will be interesting to see how the team responds. Ourside of the garbage offensive line, the team has the talent to win all 4 of the remaining games. How they respond now will tell us about Richt's leadership and ability to adjust.

I agree I'll be there next weekend against Pittsburgh. I'm not giving up on this staff it's too early.

Richt needs his own kids. Look how good Joe Jackson, AR, the fresh LB's play. I cant judge him now except i think Rosier deserves a shot.

People are ridiculous, anyone who would fly a banner now has the mental level of a retarded five year old.

Took over an 8-5 team with the worst coaching in D1 football and has somehow made it worse.

Impressive feat.

Well I'm glad you're not because that should magically turn him into an offensive genius. Dudes a terrible coach and needs to fire himself.

I'm sure they'll respond well under adversity.....just like they have post FSU debacle. Know what I mean?

Yeah I'm gonna give him until the end of this season.

If he loses EVERY GAME THE REST OF YEAR......... then I'm not supporting a loser coach anymore. 4 million buyout is fine he's got to go first year he's out. He's clearly in over his head of that happens.

Randy Shannon is far and away the best coach we've had since Butch.

Now lets marinate on that.
