Considering that he just had his bell rung hard enough to get a (back) tooth knocked out a few plays before, I'm willing to give Kaaya a break for the pick in the end zone. Obviously, it was a terrible decision and worse throw, but at least I understand why it happened. Let's not forget that he made an inch-perfect throw to tie it up at the end -- if that throw isn't an absolute dime, no one is talking about the extra point.
The biggest issues were blatant drops by wide receivers, very vanilla play calling (why so many dive plays on our second-to-last drive), and most of all, the fact that our OL was getting manhandled on virtually play. Questionable refs (chain crew, targeting, etc.) didn't help at all.
There's no doubt whatsoever that we should have won this game. I don't know if it's as bad as 2014, but it will certainly sting for a while. Let's hope that the defense keeps showing out and that Richt shakes things up next week.
