If we get Gus, do we feel better about losing Collins???

If we get him I'll be happy but I'm not gonna lose sleep over a full back from staten island

This, importance of him 2/10

LOL Wut?

We need a back in this class. Edwards is a BIG back, who should be able to help take the pressure of Duke, by pounding the rock between the tackles. He can also grow into a FB/H Back, which we really dont have any depth for. Id say his importance is pretty **** high at this point.

Would never play RB one day in his time here, ever. I'm skeptical he's better than Dillard as a FB prospect, not sure where the hype is coming from.

We needed 2 ******* running backs in this class.

Losing Gus is not an option at this point and honestly I think he's FSU bound. Not sure what our plans are here.

wait, this gus kid played ball in new york? We goin to NY for a rb? I feel like this is deja f*cking vu...

I will not comment further until this shakes out, only a day left

Last time we got a back from NYC it worked out pretty darn good for us in Stevie McGuire. You guys have to trust in Golden's evaluations.
Sure Collins would have been great, but at heart he wasn't a Cane. Seemed like a kid who needed to try to please everyone and to me that bespeaks of a lack of confidence and toughness. We'll see how his career develops but I wouldn't be surprised if he goes Ivan McCartney and ends up transferring back to Florida in a couple years.

Augustus Edwards? Looks like a tough, athletic running back. Plus he has probably been fighting kids since grade school ripping him for his name.

Yes.

As great as Collins is, we already have an elite RB.

Duke & Collins would've been disgusting, but Duke & the Randy Johnsons is a good group, too.

Umm, do you remember a great running back from Brooklyn named Stephen McQuire. Left here a national champion.

Edwards tape looks much better than Dillard at RB IMO. I could see Edwards being similar to Mike James. I did not see anything out of dillards tape except a kid that was bigger than everybody else running straight down hill on **** near every play
