Cristobal again, what do you eat lead paint?

Single best recruiter in the nation right now according to 247

yes. lets just hire a recruiter and forget about hiring a good head coach

A smart head coach surrounds himself with great coaches, who say Cristobal cant coach? He been under Saban for few years now. Miami is not going to go all in so Cristobal could be good option. Schiano is the most realistic option dont think they ever go after Butch imo . Cristobal is not a bad one but at this point I would take a chimp over AG/

Please stop posting, I'm trying to be nice. I'm trying to help you. Help me, help you.

In order

1. Harbaugh. It's a dream that won't happen but I ******* love that guys attitude.
2. Butch. The most realistic good option. He's available, is hungry to get back, has Miami ties, and most importantly, is PROVEN.
3. Rich Rod. His schemes are a perfect fit for south Florida recruiting. He pioneered alot of the read option stuff we see today (doesn't get enough credit for that imo) and his 3-3-5 is a good fit to. I think his stint at Michigan was trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, he would be embraced here.
4. Todd Graham. He's a good coach, I'm not overly impressed by him honestly. We need a experienced coach, hes already cut his teeth in the Pac12.
5. Mark Hudspeth. This guy is the anti Golden in every ******* way and I'm more impressed with him then I am with Graham, I'm just hesitant hiring another small school guy.

Coordinators

1. Pat Narduzzi.
2. Chad Morris
3. Chud

We need a HC that has experience, we can't miss this time. Those 3 coordinators are the only 3 that should even be considered

What are the four stars?

Has Al Golden ever said anything like this? No, he spent his 4 years here lowering expectations and spreading propaganda to buy himself more time and money.

"The core of our philosophy is competitiveness, so I want those expectations. I want the program and our fan base to expect us to win Pac-12 South and Pac-12 championships."

This hire should have Miami connections. I think Cristobal would be a good hire. FIU was a joke and we won back to back bowl games there. Once he was fires they became a joke again. He can recruit south Florida extremely well. Is probably the only coach who can come in and keep the classes together, especially next seasons. And he knows the Miami tradition. He's also been on Sabans staff for two years and could bring the Alabama culture to Miami. Sound discipline football. Something that Saturday showed we were lacking. I know him leaving and stabbing us in the back hurts but he's the most realistic option we have who knows what it's like to be a Cane.

OH ***ING JEBUS. Cristobal. Is this real life?

One person that nobody mentions...

Phillip Montgomery

Can you imagine the numbers Montgomery would put up with South Florida talent? All he would need is a competent defensive coordinator and you could call it a day.

Miami would be the 1st team to drop 90 points on a team in the ACC.

My first call is to Jim Harbaugh. Yes, pie in the sky but that guy is out of SF...
Second call is Schiano
Third call is Chudzinski
Fourth call is Rich Rodriguez
Fifth call is Mark Stoops
Sixth call is Cristobal
Seventh call is Jerry Kill
Eighth call is Bryan Harsin
Ninth call is Jim Leavitt
Tenth call Rufin McNeil

This has been discussed before but how much of it is Art and how much of it is Montgomery? I would be hesitant simply because he would be a first time HC and it's tough to quantify his contribution towards that offense. This is my same feeling towards Narduzzi except Narduzzi is older.

I'm not going past #2.

Harbaugh is a top 5 coach in the NFL. He isn't leaving the NFL. He will resign with the niners too, watch.

Schiano blows cack, there is no evidence he can coach a team to success.

As somebody who studies Baylors offense religiously and watches tons of their games, that offense is all Art Briles. He would be at the top of my list if he was even remotely realistic but he's a Texas guy through and through, his whole career I believe. Been a offensive innovator his whole life.
