I honestly don't have a strong opinion on who should start vs FSU- I do think it's time to move on from TVD but I am not sure if starting EW for FSU is the best for him either (vs waiting for easier opponent). Neither option is ideal. I would say that I trust the coaches to make the best decision there, but their body of evidence so far is....

I don't see it with JG either... I know that he has had some big plays, but I have also seen some really stupid stuff from him including him being more worried about shoving the DB that was covering him rather than trying to tackle the other DB that just intercepted the ball right in front of him. Also, I think it has been the consensus that at least some of TVDs interceptions have been from JG running the wrong route, although in hindsight maybe those were actually on TVD.

Not scared our WRs have been great agaisnt it. Also FSU has given up some points now don’t act like they are some world beater defense. Very good yes but not scary. Our offense is scary. Scary bad lol

How any one could defend Corchobal at this point is insane. The guy had had some of the worst loses in school history and made the worst decision in football history. Total embarrassment.

I’m in the same boat in general. I don’t get in these emotional debates about the backups like a lot of people here

But seeing TVD out there afraid to throw the ball for multiple games now…I don’t know man. He used to be able to bounce back immediately from mistakes, back when people used to compliment him for his cool calm demeanor, but he’s not that guy right now and maybe never will be again

At this point, it certainly seems there’s no quick fix, or any fix, for TVD’s yips. Throwing Emory to the semenhole wolves could be a disaster or a success.

Risk vs reward short and long term.
 
Emory should play because we're playing with House money & the starter can't stop turning the ball over...

Idk if you guys know this but in this era of CFB, TF QB's play & have success, it's happened multiple times on teams far better than ours.

If Emory really isn't ready & can't play behind a dude who is practically begging to get benched, then we got a lot bigger issues at hand than most would be willing to admit.

If they don't start Emory, it's because they're basically tanking the season, the question then becomes why?

Clearly something mentally or physically is going on and he isn’t himself right now. It’s time to make the change, although Emory wasn’t great in the Clemson game he did beat Clemson.

As of right now not only is it good for the future. Emory gives us the best chance to win if he gets 1st team reps this week and starts the game.
