Wow….the 09 fitness thread was a classic thread. Those were some great times. Thanks for bringing that memory up.

This may have been on WEZ, but wasn't there a guy who started a thread about hunting all the iguanas around him with an airsoft gun, then a bunch of people got on board, then as a result ya'll decimated the iguana population of South Florida

It's been a minute. It was Eye of the Hurricane at one point too if I remember correctly. Can't believe I've been following this team for almost fifty years.

@TitsMcgee is no longer on the WEZ and hasn’t been for quite some time. I remember when I first started there, someone mentioned that she had breast cancer and may have passed away.

I’ve been the only woman over there for at least the last two years since I joined.

Oh wow.. That is very unfortunate..

I remember seeing the MsBanky name over on wez, welcome over to CI$.. Alot less umm, polarizing but good times especially in season..

My memory of the Lounge side of the migration is incomplete (possibly probably inaccurate) because I wasn't super active there but I'll do my best:

Yes, that’s me. If I recall, I gave you my Louisville ticket last season.

Glad to see some familiar faces belonging to posters who have never called me a c***.

Chefcane had me fooled…distinctly remember him writing that Hester screamed something at Chuck Amato while he was running the KO for a TD. Oh well! Good times, good memories.

Saw she was on messenger about two hours ago so good sign she still around. I lost touch with a lot of friends in FL since moving back to OH.
 
used to be many women who would post on GRASSY

before the idiots drove them away and then the WEZ finished them off.

I know of the three sisters (@ibiscool, @SUcane, and @GirlyGirl2K), @titsmgee, @IbisGirl, and @Sister Sully XM (JenURS), who all made it over to The WEZ and posted there with some regularity in many years past, the latter of which was probably the last woman to be on The WEZ before me, ending her time in 2022. My first few months there, I poured over the archives to learn as much as I could about the history of all the different incarnations of the OG board.

When I joined The WEZ in May of 2024, I was not only the newest (and only) woman to join, but the newest member to join in 3 years, AND I'm probably the only one who didn't come from some kind of CanesTime / Lounge / Scout / Grassy transfer since I was a "legacy" who inherited an account / access.

BklynCane & RU are sisters too from Grassy.

IbisGirl, Ibiscool and SUcane were the sisters.
Bklyncane, UMGrl, NantucketVol were some of the other notable female posters.
A few more I’ve forgotten.
