The old saying, "time flies" I'm still trying to grasp how that was 29 years ago.
I actually met up with a friend today that I’ve known since the dorms freshman year. He’s moving up to Georgia (where I am) from Miami and it was the first time we met each other’s kids, and saw each other as parents. He’s one of those friends where I can go years without talking to him but then pick right back up like it was yesterday because I’ve known him for most of my life now.

My son had asked us how long we’ve known each other and it was just so surreal. I was only 17 then.

I just want Miami to win next Monday and then let another 29 years go by.........

Man - some epic stories in here, i got on Miami scout forms cause my dad was into them. I was 11 (2007) posting on his account and getting ripped for my grammar.

Eventually made my own account (TheU32). Experienced some hilarious Dannyboycane content, Jon Gruden hoax, and hung out in the lounge way too young. I started smoking at 15 and hung out in the trees thread. Some awesome dudes. Jay and Blur taught me so much good music. NO shot they knew they were talking to someone so young tho lmao. Pete was in there too for some reason (didn’t burn) but was good vibes.

These message boards are a community. I haven’t met anyone in here and don’t post much anymore but is such a happy part of my life. I try and explain it to my wife and she just thinks I’m crazy.

Go Canes

@AlexCane @LuCane and Jack3d. Good times 🤣

I remember there was a lot of **** going on and think they had already had a plan for the new board but I remember when AU got banned and people were like alright **** this
This might be a stab in the dark but do yall remember one the posters people talked **** about and something bout him with a colostomy bag lol it’s a vague memory for me but I remember laughing about that for a long time.

5XNC- told me about Grassy in 1998. I was on the ESPN boards mostly. What a great run of fans we had. I could name 20+ die hard fans i met at the games and bars of NYC and Long Island. Such a great thing to see some returning, like our glory past days! Was in my twenties and just out of college, now I have 3 kids, a wife and in my 50s. Times flies!

ALL THE BEST, PEEPS! Let's Go 'Canes!

Who said that there's no life after prison? Dario update:

Dario Herrera, the former Clark County Commissioner convicted in the "G-Sting" scandal, seems to be involved in marketing, and digital media, with recent social media posts placing him in Los Angeles, CA, working on creative projects and brand building.

After prison, he's been a marketing exec and CEO, focusing on digital/social media for various brands and artists, including connecting with fans and monetizing platforms.

He has acting credits listed for 2025 in TV mini-series, suggesting he's actively involved in acting projects.

In Summary: While he was a disgraced politician in Las Vegas, Herrera has since reinvented himself in the digital marketing and entertainment space, currently active in Los Angeles and working on various projects.
