I think Jimbo goes to LSU

Todd McShay just said on Russillo & Kanell, that he's hearing that Jimbob is the run away favorite, he's #1 on their list & they're trying hard to get him.

They also discussed Herman quite a bit, but it was brought up that if Houston gets into the Big XII his salary bumps up to $5mill a year and he probably wouldn't leave.

But, McShay definitively said that Jimbo is LSU's #1 guy and they're going to throw everything at him to get him.

someone explain why LSU is a better job than FSU? they have good recruits but florida has more. sec is a little more difficult top to bottom than the ACC and saban is there.

More money and he doesn't have two rivals recruiting the same state.

SIAP, but what happened with Jimbo's wife ?

She was getting banged out by former UF players while Cuckbo sat there in the corner with his pants around his ankles pulling his taffy.

It's been reported that he was suckling his thumb at the same time

Correct. I saw that report.
Still one of the craziest football stories I ever heard.
FSU head coach's wife getting banged by a UF player. F**kin' A, man. F**kin A. Almost feel bad for the guy. Almost.
Don't forget there was a second guy too. An fsu tennis player was also laying that wood down on jumbos wife

She tried her best to bridge the two fanbases by opening her legs for players at both schools

Sad that there are no Hurricanes on the list. Here is the question: if evidence surfaces that Mark D'Onofrio also laid the pipe to her under Jimbo's radar, does he go from a goat to the G.O.A.T.?

It might not be a better job, but for Jimbo if he gets more money & gets to return back to LSU where he was coordinator for 6 years, he may take it.

Seems like it's lining up that Jimbo goes there, especially if we beat FSU this year. Only thing that worries me is Tom Herman at FSU. With the resources here, his offense and kids love him could be a dangerous combo

i really dont care if jimbo stays or goes. it is irrelevant to the UM football program.
It's relevant to Miami in terms of recruiting, it would cause a seismic shift in Florida if Jimbo left FSU...
We would quickly return back to being the recruiting juggernaut that we were in the past.

It would also change the dynamic of the ACC, Jimbo leaves & Watson goes to the draft, it suddenly puts us right up there to compete for this conference.

Not saying that Jimbo is some giant hill that is impossible to get over, but him leaving would essentially guarantee us multiple ACC titles, which results in multiple chances in the playoffs.

I think we're on our way to do all of these things even if Jimbo stays, but him leaving speeds up the process exponentially.

It also stains FSU as no longer a "destination job". Now that could be remedied quickly IF they made a big hire to replace Cuckbo but that's not a guarantee. That said, I don't see him leaving and I don't see LSU even ending up impressing the masses with the guy they end up settling on. I personally think USC is a better overall job- even with their administration issues.

FSU always recruited well regardless of coach. We missed out big local talents not because Jimbo was this magical recruiter, it was because they won a NC, beat us 6 times in a row, had better coaches to develop players and Golden was not liked very much locally as much as we wanted to think he was.

We are not where we need to be but we are where we need to be mentally. We fired coaches and brought in staff that can develop players to be NFL ready and don't destroy kids careers because of a scheme.

FSU wil always get a good coach, they have money and they will always recruit good players, but they can never have what we have.

technically, you are correct.

but when you are Miami with Miami's spirit and confidence, you dont care who is in Tallahassee Gainesville or anywhere else. that has always been irrelevant to us.

perhaps 15 years of beat downs has made some of us into puzzies or caring about programs, but we take care of our business, which it seems we are now, then nothing else matters.

You completely missed my point...
And I'm one of the guys on here who is constantly having to argue with people about not being soft when it comes to other programs.

What I'm saying is, Jimbo leaving is only a good thing for us, NOT saying that we can't or won't return back to dominating if he stays, I'm simply saying him leaving is good thing.

Hot ****, is she hot!!! ****, how could that chit happen?? its usually the coach banging the chicks, not the wife....Petrino a bunch of coaches.. well that means he needs a boost of testosterone, or load up on Viagra...**** what a sucker...LOL

I'm not seeing what the draw would be. He's already got money and facilities, he's close to s fla, and he's won a recent nc, why go anywhere else?

Plus, his sons are in Tallahassee. Don't know specifics of the divorce, but am sure he went after joint physical custody. He got the home in the divorce and Candy and the boys are in a rental home nearby.

Hopefully, the court keeps the boys away from that sick cuck Cuckbo. They don't need to learn that sick sexual fetish from him.

A head coach that is at the office 80+ hrs a week during the season seeks joint custody? Most likely not. Regardless if she spread her legs, she probably has more custody for convenience. Sucks for him but it's reality.

Look at this wishlist:

So, let us say Jimbo goes to LSU (as the Finebaum, Cowherd, and Galloways seem to think will happen), and then FSU has to find a new coach. IF we all agree Herman is the best fall back option, IF HE IS AVAILABLE, then which schools will be our competition? The only real threats would be: Texas (if they lose oklahoma/okl state they fire Strong-- possible), USC (Clayton is looking like a horrible hire), Michigan (if Harbough goes to the NFL again-unlikely I think), ND (If Kelly leaves on his own or not), and MAYBE OSU/Bama (if Meyer/Saban suddenly retires--Very unlikely, but who knows). I do not see any other schools who could realistically have a shot beat out FSU for Herman (Staples am I off on that statement?). Okay, of those schools that are competition, I would say at least 1 will be freed up, and I would not be shocked if up to 3 open up. USC, UT, and ND are all big possibilities. Of those three schools, Herman has connections to two the homes states of 2 of them (USC and UT). I think it is fair to say that FSU would not be the favorite to land Herman if USC, UT, and ND are all open.
If USC, UT, and ND open up and Herman goes to one of them (as I think would happen in that scenario), then what are FSU's options if Jimbo is poached by LSU? For me the candidates would break down in the following categories:

Worth a call, but don't hold your breath for a single second:
  • Gary Patterson (he seems to like it there, and turn down many jobs, but who knows),
  • Dabo Sweeney (won't happen, but just to **** off some Clemson fans makes it worth it),
  • Mark Dantonio (yeah I know it'll never happen, but I love him, give him a ring for that 3 second NO),
  • Paul Chryst (may be a surprise here, but I have been impressed with him this year and at Pitt, but I doubt he leaves Wisconsin), and
  • David Shaw (yeah he won't leave, but it seems required to call him lol).

More likely, but still a long shot:

  • Pat Narduzzi (he just got there, would he already leave... and the whole ACC thing),
  • Justin Fuente (see Narduzzi comment), and
  • Kyle Whittingham (I think FSU is ahead of Utah as a job, but that is a long way from Florida).

Realistic Options:
  • Fedora (Yeah he is in the ACC, but I get the feeling he is looking for a better job already... FSU is bigger than UNC... don't love everything about him),
  • Willie Taggart (at first not a big fan of this idea, but it makes sense when you think about it... still...),
  • Matt Rhule (Golden Rule: I don't know about hiring another Temple guy to a top state of Florida HC job),
  • Jeff Brohm (he runs a Petrino style offense, but without Petrino's baggage, but he does lack a ton of experience... and Florida ties???),
  • Lane Kiffin (he has issues, mainly has he matured, but he can recruit and he knows good offense),
  • Brent Venebles (I did not think it was a great move by Clemson to hire him, boom I was wrong, great DC and recruiter, but he has no HC experience),
  • Dan Mullins (made MSU a contender, can recruit Florida, but MSU sucks this year), and
  • Bryan Kelly (okay this is assuming in this scenario he is canned at ND... yeah he has had recent struggles, but he would not have the recruiting limitations he had at ND, although he would need to do better at hiring his DC).

Fall Back Options:
  • Frost (do not love his offensive philosophy, and has limited HC experience),
  • Chad Morris (he has struggled at SMU),
  • Chris Weinke (I have heard his name in some places as a possible future HC for FSU in the distant future, but he has no HC experience in college),
  • Mario Cristobal (has some HC experience, but was fired by FIU for some reason, but he knows how to recruit Florida),
  • Randy Shannon (he is a great DC, can recruit Florida with the best, would **** off UM fans, but man oh man remember his days at UM... yikes), :roll-canes2:
  • Steve Addazio (has a little too much Less Miles in him for my liking, his offense seems to get worst every year, and he is old),
  • PJ Fleck (no Florida ties),
  • Bryan Harsin (no real Florida ties),
  • Butch Davis (I think his best days are behind him, but hey I will throw him in here),
  • Dave Aranda (no HC experience), Sonny Cumbie (no HC experience),
  • Scottie Motgomery (limited experience),
  • Neal Brown (inexperienced, but I think has a bright future), and
  • Mike Sanford (no HC experience, no Florida ties).

NO NO NO, we must say NO to these guys if they are even remotely interested:
  • Art Briles (Winston drama times a million),
  • Freeze (even if he would be interested, he is a sanction waiting to happen),
  • Chizik, and
  • Miles (he is not winning another title).

Agree on USC. SoCal talent is comparable to SoFla's and USC can recruit nationally. They could make another run if they can get over the 'We Are SC' mindset and hire another top coach.

I think you've got that backwards. They did all that winning because they had recruited so well. Which leaves the mystery of why unanswered. Maybe it's the rich cultural diversity of Tallahassee.
