I'm black too, and I don't use that word. It's not a word we should use, because it's a word with an awful connotation and heritage Richard Pryor said it best when he explained why he stopped using it in his act "We aren't N***ers, and we shouldn't demean ourselves by using it". Then again, it's a certain kind of black person that uses that word, usually ones that aren't educated, that have little understanding of the history of that word. Those people will sit there and complain about white people using it. Respect yourself first, and then you can start hammering others.

Thats great that you don't use it, but you sound like an ignorant fool calling people who use it uneducated and ****. Some of the richest black americans use the words.

Proving you graduated with a 'Doctorate in Stupidity'.

Look you know nothing imbecile, the national media would love to flog that video as proof that Canes players and fans are nothing but criminals, morons, and foul-mouthed thugs. They would love to see that video go viral. And, ESPN would be in all their glory running that garbage over and over and over again.

These antics also factor in on the national rankings as in the past voters loved to hate the Canes and showed it in the polls.

You need to find a good prison team to root for and promote. You could be their mascot or serve them in some other sphere.

“Chasing your tale? Sometimes we relive past accomplishments, failures and or past relationships to the point of exhaustion. When we do this, I liken it to a dog chasing its tail, just spinning round and round and going nowhere fast. Constantly chasing our own tales has the same effect on us. It leaves us in a state of dizzying immobility. When we wrap our arms so firmly around our past we leave little room to embrace our present future and that, my friends, is a sad tale to tell." ~Versey

I don't give af. Its a playoff system now so it will be significantly harder for these pollsters to take us out of the playoff because they don't like it.

Significantly harder? Anything, and I mean anything, that involves human beings can, and will be influenced. Also, public sentiment is as powerful as a 20ft tidal wave moving at 500 miles an hour when it hits its target.

History has a way of repeating itself and the Canes lived through, and somehow survived, a number of crisis points that saw many, in all phases of college football, calling/demanding that the Hurricanes football program be crushed by the death penalty. Those same forces are laying in the tall grass hoping/praying they will get yet another opportunity to forevermore end the University of Miami Football Program.

After reading the Shapiro/Yahoo story, NCAA President, Mark Emmert sprinted to a gathering of journalists and spoke into a gaggle of microphones and volunteered that the death penalty was on the table. This was before the charges in the story were corroborated, because, like many others, Emmert believed he would be hailed by the world of college football as the hero who killed the Miami program. Emmert is far from being the only one in a position of power who wants to be the Canes killer!

Celebrating the moronic, classless, pathetic actions in that video...IS NOT A CANES THING AND SOME ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT!!

They are not going to do **** because some guy posted a video of himself dissing the UNC players. Public sentiment didn't hurt Bama when the Bama fan killed another Bama fan for not being upset enough about the loss. Or the numerous other football related shootings by Bama fans. That is fine that you don't like it. I personally think he is a great fan and I would buy him a drink if I saw him in real life.

What in the **** are you talking about??? Alabama??? Alabama is part of the NCAA good ole boy network and is almost untouchable. Miami is anything, but a member in good standing of the NCAA good ole boy network and not even close to being untouchable.

Have you no idea what the program has suffered through for the last 38 years or so?

That moron's antics allow the haters to add that video to the 'The Miami Hurricanes are a bunch of thugs and criminals' narrative. No, one nitwit loudly spewing vile comments as kids and women looked on will not destroy the program but is a NEEDLESS reminder of past transgressions.

Miami is the team that most of college football decision makers love to hate. Anybody that doesn't believe that boiling just under the surface exists a whole mess of folks that would love to be remembered as the individual that killed the Canes football program is at best, naive.

Now, go buy your buddy a drink...the two of you deserve each other!

Idiocy

It does go on everywhere. Doesn't mean we should condone it, though. Most of us don't want to be associated with a bunch of backwoods hicks known for this garbage - that should be left for Gainesville, Morgantown and Tuscaloosa.

It's also weak to stand around and wait for a sorry team the Canes just wiped the floor with to walk off the field just so you can spew crap at them, safely from the stands. I hate UNC's football team as much as the next guy, but that's just not necessary. Get a life. You might as well have stuck around to talk **** at Savannah State and FIU.

I'm shocked something like that would happen at a Miami football game, shocked I tell you.

Safely from your keyboard though...they guy that made the video would flush you down a toilet.

You're a card-carrying moron! Yeah, he's a real bad **** as he's calling the North Carolina players names safely up in the stands. If one of those players made a move towards him he would have tucked tail and started squealing and running away like a miniature Chihuahua being chased by an angry cat.

Go tell that guy that......that guy is pretty accessible...chances are you will not say anything to him because he would send you to ICU.

You weaklings always pzz out on telling the person you actually have the issue with.
