Significantly harder? Anything, and I mean anything, that involves human beings can, and will be influenced. Also, public sentiment is as powerful as a 20ft tidal wave moving at 500 miles an hour when it hits its target.
History has a way of repeating itself and the Canes lived through, and somehow survived, a number of crisis points that saw many, in all phases of college football, calling/demanding that the Hurricanes football program be crushed by the death penalty. Those same forces are laying in the tall grass hoping/praying they will get yet another opportunity to forevermore end the University of Miami Football Program.
After reading the Shapiro/Yahoo story, NCAA President, Mark Emmert sprinted to a gathering of journalists and spoke into a gaggle of microphones and volunteered that the death penalty was on the table. This was before the charges in the story were corroborated, because, like many others, Emmert believed he would be hailed by the world of college football as the hero who killed the Miami program. Emmert is far from being the only one in a position of power who wants to be the Canes killer!
Celebrating the moronic, classless, pathetic actions in that video...IS NOT A CANES THING AND SOME ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT!!
