Say what you will but the coaches have improved our record every year. I don't believe it is Golden's fault Shannon left junk at this school. I don't believe it is Golden's fault recruiting depth was not evenly balanced out (4 CBs recruited by Shannon in span of 4 years). I don't believe it is Golden's fault we had NO talent at QB so we resorted to transfers to build depth.

Is it funny now that Golden has dug his roots in Miami the team has far more talent? Is it a coincidence some of our best players are all underclassmen?

Even with all the garbage that has tarnished this football program we have improved in wins every year. Say what you will with scheduling but wins are wins, and this is all with a lack of talent. Imagine the possibilities now that actual depth is being built and there is talent spread across the team.

Have their been growing pains? Of course there has but what did you expect with what was here 4 years ago? No coach would have won here with a Stephen Morris at QB and freaking Highsmith as a starting safety. A QB turned safety was starting for us and you guys expected good things from our defense, el oh el.

Another Folden *** towel emerges from the hamper. Looks like the new mantra with Folden's Fckboys is that he's improved the record every year. It's odd that this is being so readily accepted despite the fact he's already got 3 losses this year with several games left.

The only thing Golden has to hang his hat on right now is that in year 4 he didn't go full blown Randy with with 5 losses. The season is no over and we still have FSU among others. 5 losses got Randy fired in year 4. Will 5 get Golden fired in year 4?

And I'd like to point out for all the cloud bull****, lets not act like we didn't have our own issues when Randy took over. We were just coming off the Pata murder, FIU brawl, Willie Cooper and Merriweather getting in gun battles, and even the Taylor murder. The school image took a significant blow from these events. We had parents who refused to let their kids come here, because we were thugs and their kids might get killed. That was a real cloud, worrying about your safety, vs worrying about some Ponzi schemer giving you money.

This! It kills me when people act like Shannon took over something great. The university used him like a two dolla hoe. The ISh he had to face is waaaay worse than Goldens self imposed problems. And he was a first time head coach at that

Them explain to me how Gus Malzahn took a 3 win team who didn't win a conference game into national championship contenders in one summer?

Tell me how mark stoops turned fsu from the 117th ranked defense to top 30 in one summer?

You make decent points about depth and experience but when you're getting some of the best players and better players than your opponents then scheme becomes a huge factor against those teams with better depth and experience.

The fact that you avoid talking about Goldens schematic approach just proves that you have no idea what to think and you're just listening to Goldens interviews on replay.

Because all the guys who understand xs and os(besides jersey came) understand that we are at a disadvantage before the ball is snapped in every game.

Highsmith didn't have to play safety or start. Neither does fen tress. But they play because they follow all Goldens rules and are good little boys. The other players can't help but freelance because they know that crap defense doesn't work so they take it upon themselves to make plays.

Can't blame them for that after game after game of abuse.

Furthermore, now that we have better players, as you stated, we still don't trust the players enough to change the scheme unless we are for sure we have a MAJOR talent advantage.

Golden has had more than enough to win the coastal from year one .if golden just stuck to coaching Miami football and not try to force players into his scheme then he'd have better recruiting results, better teams, and better depth.

Golden has expended many talented players to try and force penn state style football on florida players.

Anytime I see anyone taking up for golden just shows me that they really are clueless and prob never played a meaningful down of football in their life. And if they did they sure as **** had no idea what the coach was trying to employ as a strategy or gameplay.
