I find it funny how people attempt to discredit coaches...

Duke is on the verge of getting back-to-back Coastal titles. Miami, even in its darkest hours, far outranks Duke in recruiting ever year. That goes to show that Duke has a better coaching staff than we do.

Duke has the easiesrt schedule in the enitre ACC. Miami has been the best opponent they've faced all year so far. They didn't have Clemson or FSU or even Louisville.

So them being 8-1 with an easy schedule shows that they are average at best, but still managed to handle GT.

Didn't Shannon also have to insert a true freshmans QB into the lineup halfway through his final season as a result of Harris's injury?

Morris was planning to RS all season and had been taking third team reps in practice behind Harris and Whipple. We didn't cut him any slack for that and ran him off for losing 5 games.

Why was the QB depth lacking that Shannon had to depend on a freshman QB? And friggin Whipple..care to explain that?

At least Golden can say Williams tore his ACL, and Olsen decided to be a moron

What does being black have to do with anything?

Coker left awfulness for Shannon as well, Shannon just made it worse

One white, one black, both suck

OP is using shannon to defend the white guy four years later. Shannon was 7-3 at one point his final season yet everyone wanted him fired. But some how the white guy gets a pass. Not saying is racial with every fan but it is with a few. And for your info Golden has sucked just as much as coker and shannon if not more.

:neonu:

If Golden was Puerto Rican I wonder how badly you'd be screaming racism

You wouldnt be defending him thats for sure.

:neonu:

Yet I ripped into Coker, I believe Coker was white right?

Clearly you're a racist, sad

Another Folden *** towel emerges from the hamper. Looks like the new mantra with Folden's Fckboys is that he's improved the record every year. It's odd that this is being so readily accepted despite the fact he's already got 3 losses this year with several games left.

The only thing Golden has to hang his hat on right now is that in year 4 he didn't go full blown Randy with with 5 losses. The season is no over and we still have FSU among others. 5 losses got Randy fired in year 4. Will 5 get Golden fired in year 4?

And I'd like to point out for all the cloud bull****, lets not act like we didn't have our own issues when Randy took over. We were just coming off the Pata murder, FIU brawl, Willie Cooper and Merriweather getting in gun battles, and even the Taylor murder. The school image took a significant blow from these events. We had parents who refused to let their kids come here, because we were thugs and their kids might get killed. That was a real cloud, worrying about your safety, vs worrying about some Ponzi schemer giving you money.

This! It kills me when people act like Shannon took over something great. The university used him like a two dolla hoe. The ISh he had to face is waaaay worse than Goldens self imposed problems. And he was a first time head coach at that

Exactly what problems did Shannon go into?

You do realize Shannon was part of the previous staff right? That should have eased the transition into his first role. Alot of the players he had he had a part in recruiting.

What exactly did Shannon walk into? Did he walk into a NCAA investigation? Did he walk into a program with reduced scholarships?

All I will ever remember about Shannon is him letting his assistants run amok with Shapiro, 48-0 at the Orange Bowl, Patrick Nix, and ruining Jacory's career

lol at blaming kaaya for the GT loss. Sorry our true freshman Qb made a few mistakes and couldnt bail out our defense full of juniors and seniors.

Kaaya threw 2 picks in the redzone. He doesn't throw those Miami doesn't lose. In a game where the possessions will be less than normal and always will be against a triple option GT, you can't afford turnovers. The defense had a few ugly plays, but overall the offense only putting up 17 on an average GT defense was pretty bad.

He's a freshman. Hes going to make mistakes. Its the defense that should be bailing him out after he makes mistakes. They couldnt stop them all game. You cant put that on Kaaya

Out of GT's 7(the 8th ended the game) drives, 3 ended in punts. Out of Miami's 7(one ended the half) drives, 2 were punts and 2 were interceptions in the redzone. The 3rd and 17 against the defense was ugly, but it isn't a game killer if you have a QB that protects the ball. I don't care if he is young or not, that does not take away from the fact that his two interceptions are a huge reason that game was lost.

Might I add 17 points is the lowest GT has held anyone to all year. Even Georgia Southern scored more points. At the same time, 28 points is only 1 more point than GT's lowest point total on the year. VT held them to 27, but put up 24. Our offense only put up 17. Why? Because of dumb interceptions.
No bich because they couldn't get the ball. Duke was gashing the **** out of GT but we didn't have the ball enough. Why because our defense couldn't stop them from driving the field and running the clock. They had drives that were taking **** near 10 mins. Its sure hard to play offense knowing you have to score every **** drive. That's when you force throws instead of checking down. Knowing **** well u can be on the sideline for **** near 30 real time minutes. Gtfoh

disgusted at Hauk and his crew of gaggers. Clearly a case of blind leading the blind

This is a retarded argument.

Why was QB depth so bad we had to rely on a noodle arm transfer from Memphis and a RS freshman with attitude issues?

Every team in the coastal has an easy schedule. If we had half a coach every game this year except two would've been scrimmages. Washington state would've been 10-2 with our schedule.

Why do you think they ran off a Miami man in RS and are seemingly not even putting pressure on a Ped State Jizzbag in El Foldo who is actually worse than the Miami man?

That should be very easy to figure out. One guy is white and has a good rap with the media. The other guy is black. Figure out which one got the short end of the stick.

LMAO @ people complaining that Duke, DUKE, has an easier schedule. Pathetic.

That's when you know the fake pro-Folden movement in here has reached the ultimate depth of depravity. Dudes claiming Duke's schedule is too easy. LULZ x infinity.

Their probably so jealous of their schedule, too. In their eyes, a wins a win. Doesn't matter if it's Cincy, Vtech, or UNC, wins over any of those teams (can you imagine if we beat all those teams?!?) would send them into chest pumping mode and claiming Golden's our man!

Can't wait to play the Toledo's of the world so we can get on Duke's level.

What does being part of the previous staff have anything do to with multiple incidents involving guns? Do you think it's jimbos fault Winston raped ******* and stole crab legs?

is dnofrio or Coley at fault when golden misses on big recruits, last time I checked head coach is in charge of recruiting decisions.

Yes Shannon had some embarrassing losses, but so has golden. Goldens defense tends to not allow big scores because teams just dink and dunk on us eating up clock. While Shannon gave up some big scores, I don't seem to remember him giving up 500 yards per game. We made logan thomas look like Peyton Manning and he was super bad.

As far as shapiro, Shannon was the one warning his players and the administration about him. You know the same administration kissing Goldens ***
