Say what you will but the coaches have improved our record every year. I don't believe it is Golden's fault Shannon left junk at this school. I don't believe it is Golden's fault recruiting depth was not evenly balanced out (4 CBs recruited by Shannon in span of 4 years). I don't believe it is Golden's fault we had NO talent at QB so we resorted to transfers to build depth.

Is it funny now that Golden has dug his roots in Miami the team has far more talent? Is it a coincidence some of our best players are all underclassmen?

Even with all the garbage that has tarnished this football program we have improved in wins every year. Say what you will with scheduling but wins are wins, and this is all with a lack of talent. Imagine the possibilities now that actual depth is being built and there is talent spread across the team.

Have their been growing pains? Of course there has but what did you expect with what was here 4 years ago? No coach would have won here with a Stephen Morris at QB and freaking Highsmith as a starting safety. A QB turned safety was starting for us and you guys expected good things from our defense, el oh el.

Where did I say the current team has a lack of talent? I said previous did have a lack of talent, evidence is Highsmith starting. I said this team's talented players, especially on defense are mostly underclassman or true juniors.

Your team is as good as its backups, sort of important to have. Quite sad Golden had to spend 3 years cleaning up the previous regimes garbage.

In a game where the possessions will be less than normal and always will be against a triple option GT, you can't afford turnovers. The defense had a few ugly plays, but overall the offense only putting up 17 on an average GT defense was pretty bad.

He's a freshman. Hes going to make mistakes. Its the defense that should be bailing him out after he makes mistakes. They couldnt stop them all game. You cant put that on Kaaya

He's a freshman. Hes going to make mistakes. Its the defense that should be bailing him out after he makes mistakes. They couldnt stop them all game. You cant put that on Kaaya

Out of GT's 7(the 8th ended the game) drives, 3 ended in punts. Out of Miami's 7(one ended the half) drives, 2 were punts and 2 were interceptions in the redzone. The 3rd and 17 against the defense was ugly, but it isn't a game killer if you have a QB that protects the ball. I don't care if he is young or not, that does not take away from the fact that his two interceptions are a huge reason that game was lost.

Might I add 17 points is the lowest GT has held anyone to all year. Even Georgia Southern scored more points. At the same time, 28 points is only 1 more point than GT's lowest point total on the year. VT held them to 27, but put up 24. Our offense only put up 17. Why? Because of dumb interceptions.

OP is using shannon to defend the white guy four years later. Shannon was 7-3 at one point his final season yet everyone wanted him fired. But some how the white guy gets a pass. Not saying is racial with every fan but it is with a few. And for your info Golden has sucked just as much as coker and shannon if not more.
