It’s not over. We will be back next year. I think we will be better. Mario will have us in position to be in it every year.Waited 20 plus years for that

I know you wasn’t t around for the 99 season but this one feels the same. The difference is Mario is not leaving for the NFL like Butch next season lol.Waited 20 plus years for that
Can you cats believe that I’m more piszed at Indiana winning than Miami losing. Don’t get me wrong, I would’ve loved for my team to win but I’m just not that type of sports fan that like seeing teams win for all the news outlets and sports talk shows going to give them the Cinderella best team ever love fest beginning of a football dynasty talk. If you don’t believe, turn on sports center and watch them do the warm ups.
It will be betterWe won't have that D next year.
Losing sucks but I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t the most fun I’ve had watching the canes. The playoff run, enjoying this with my son etc. it was a blast. The pain is real.
It’s a tough one. I think I’m just sad man. Wanted this team to finish it with the big one. Lot of guys on that team re wrote our history. Every single player and coach on the team is leaving the program in a better spot then when they found it.We were every bit the team we thought we were.
They were what we expected.
We had the chance.
I’m hurt.
And Beck is going to replay that pass for the rest of his life.
Well said - hurts so bad because we all know we let them boys off the hook.I am locked in a cycle of upbeat enthusiasm and stomach-turned nausea.
We made it through the toughest playoff run in history. Miami.
We should have won the national championship. Miami.
This is like going through emotional withdrawal.
You ever watch a sad movie, that's a very good movie but still super sad, and it just sticks with you?I am locked in a cycle of upbeat enthusiasm and stomach-turned nausea.

I don’t think Dawson was playing with his foodThis is not 1986 or 2002. No where near that level of devastation.
We knew we needed to play an A game to win. Instead:
* Dawson played with his food the entire first half again. (no points scored in the 1st half in two of the four playoff games).
* Whiffed block allowing a blocked punt for six
* Missed field goal in a predictable way. (Carter Davis on the left hash leaking the ball to the right)
* Toney fielding another punt inside the five yard line.
* Facemask on 3rd and 18 when IU was running a draw play.
We were every bit the team we thought we were.
