You guys already kinda hit on it. With the portal it makes it so weird. You can be more talented year but if the mix isn’t right it can be terrible.

I mean we are gonna be talented next year for sure. Absolutely

But this group was special. It just had that magic despite all the ungodly frustrating parts

I feel weird at the moment. Indiana was gutsy as **** and they wanted it just like we did. It was a **** of a game. Guys like Fletcher and Toney…Bain and Mesidor…I am bummed for them. Not me as a fan. I’m good. But I wanted it for those guys man

I bet money on us to win the natty the day we made the playoffs. I never doubted.

Now I’m hurt emotionally and financially
 
Proud of the season and the team.

I'm sad because I don't know if we make it here next season. Everything had to go right for us just to get in. Plus the unpredictability of college football these days...moving like the NFL. I think if not next season then maybe after? But in the modern college football world you have to seize it now. No guarantee like it was for us from 2000-2002.

I'm disappointed.

I'm not hurt over it, hurt was the Fiesta, enough said.

Hurt was the Sugar against Bama.

Hurrt was when we beat VT in '05 I think and then **** the bed against GT the next week.

I didn't expect to be here, tonight, etc.

When I think of this game, I will always call it the one we let get away.

First half, soft coverage, running into stacked boxes trying to Bro ball them, and some questionable calls.

I'll remember Bauman for the blocked punt TD, ****.

I'll remember IU tackled very good all game long.

I'll remember that Mendoza TD and while an incredible effort it should've never been. Bain was there to flatten him behind the line of scrimmage and was of course held.

Lastly, the zebras. Sure, we got away with some, but ****, I stopped counting after 20 holds and PI calls they didn't do a thing about. I don't blame them, we did enough to lose this game in the first half, but we held on and had a chance. They literally called more holds on our return game than they did when IU had the ball. To me, that's inexcusable.

What could've been, well, it wasn't and that sucks.
 
We need to get receivers who can get separation and read zone coverage. Daniels couldn’t separate from a tree. Marion can’t read zone coverage and I’m not talking about the last pick that was on Beck.

Something was off on that play. I'll have to watch it again, I only watched it the one time, but that was a big underthrow to be on Beck. I feel like there was a miscommunication between the two.
