Golden is out recruiting in Wellington right now, so it's safe to say that he wasn't included in this meeting.

ROI, gentlemen: Return On Investment. The members of the BOT are business savvy. Their impetus to make any change is driven by the bottom line. They have to believe that status quo will not only hurt the bottom line, but cause it irreparable harm. At the same time, they have to believe that there is a HC candidate that carries enough buzz to make up the difference in lost revenue from the buyout figure, combined with what can only be perceived as an epic loss of interest (and revenue) from fan's game attendance, their buying merchandise, building good will for the university, etc.

Only one man's hire would create enough "buzz" to more than compensate for the perceived loss of revenue next year. It's just too perfect to pass up. BBB.

The amount of season tixs would increase with the correct hire. Status quo would have a net loss of season tixs sales. I for one will not renew my seats. I have been a season holder for at least 15 years and this is the final straw.

Judge Whopper? Isn't that the former Burger King chief counsel that is now a Circuit Judge in Miami?

bust in that **** and tell them to fire his a$$, be punching mofos as you are doing it

I'm a 135 pounds. You really think I got that in me?

It's not the size of the dog in a fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.

You go in swinging, and you hit everything that moves. And then start on anything that doesn't move.

You put Stu Miller in a figure four leg lock and don't release the hold until someone calls Golden.

Plus, Stu will respect you so much after the fact that he'll set you up with a house at Lennar's newest development in Boynton or Lantana. Your choice.
