Thats what I would like to see him lean into with more detail, the technical insight that most fans or journalists are not able to offer.

That and getting into the unique experiences from his playing days. Being recruited by Kiffin landed perfectly with that discussion and It got my attention but then the conversation quickly shifted away. That could have been a great 5 minute segment going into where he was coaching at the time, how his personality was in the living room vs on camera, what did he negative recruit with etc etc.
 
This might be the most quintessential thread in CIS history.

I do think AR needs more time to grow into this space. Maybe he's nervous? I think he can be a little repetitive with the things he says. He just needs more reps at this or study other co-hosts on other shows. He doesn't need to be hype at 100mph, just a tad more upbeat, and stop saying "to be honest with you.."

One day a week with AR was more than enough. Today’s show with Steve Kim was great. CIS is better with Pete. AR doesn’t bring anything to the show imo. Appreciate his love for canes and he was a great player. It’s not personal.
 
Can’t believe I’m going to type this…I agree with the OP.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Good media and podcast has ying and yang. Pete kept D honest. I don’t hate AR I just don’t see him as an everyday host. He is better than Ruiz who is complete clown. I think D should have gone the Donno route having different guest each day. I like D he just gives you too much fluff and doesn’t keep it real.
 
Pete had great moments.. but he was to sassy and seemed like he was always on his period.

Plus you cant be on there with D$ (employed by UM) and always criticizing the coach and maybe the greatest QB in team history.
