Seems odd... @1murhurricane did say Keem likes to play with the media but hearing reports Mario told the turncoat that he was taking on Keem's recruitment personally then just ignores him? Nah.

By all accounts we cooled on Hykeem, Fletcher headed to OSU, Jalen Brown feeling Michigan, Cormani and Richard Young are locks to Bama, Innis is down to USC or Ohio State, LeBlanc to UF and we aren't willing to do what it takes to get Rashada. Is that about right from all the recent "buzz" and articles ha!?

Some interesting stuff being reported on 247 regarding Hykeem. Seems there was a twitter space at some point recently - maybe last night- and Keems coach was in it talking about how Miami stopped calling him and isn't actively recruiting him. More than one person heard it. Supposedly this coach also forwarded some texts from the kid to one of the people hosting the space to show him. This is why he hasn't been back on campus and never seems to be mentioned in these interviews.

Anyone got any connections there to see if this is true???
Every year there is always a story like this.
There is always a player or a handler that acts like Miami isn’t recruiting the kid and it is somehow Miami’s fault.

We haven’t had a staff that is more plugged in to sofla players than we have now.
But if this is true, and that’s a big if, it has to be that the staff heard something or knows something. Sometimes these camps let the other schools Know what’s gonna be requiered to secure a commitment.

Keem hasn’t been hiding under some rock. The days of Manny and co fckng up a local blue chip’s recruitment over some dumb sht are over.

A blue chip receiver his size that has every frontrunner after him isn’t gonna be ignored by this staff unless something is up or unless this entire story is bravo sierra.

Don't forget Bain to Bama! Ya'll need to relax, wake me up in the fall!

It sounds eerily similar to our coaching searches when the sky was falling and Mario was "failing" and no one wanted the positions here then out of left field we go on a run of Steele, Strong, Gattis, Addae and analyst roles filled with the best HS Coach in South Florida and a HOF DE. But no doubt we won't be able to recruit 17-18 year olds to come here or will we?

Whoops! You forgot that Mario, a minority himself of Hispanic decent, who grew up and played at multi-cultural Miami, doesn't like black coaches and Smith was trying to get out of his RB coaching contract. Remember when that magically dropped 48 hours before LOI day? Yet we somehow ended up with one of the most diverse staffs in the country that are completely dedicated to their head coach. So weird! :)

People are going to finally realize how much strategic misinformation is put out there in recruiting. We are finally a major threat. They are going to come at us. Let them.

So what I’m hearing is a run is coming soon… 😈

You should probably add that the biggest idiot on that board is the one claiming this. I haven’t seen David Lake ever threaten to ban anyone and he threatened to ban him a couple days ago. The guy constantly says outlandish nonsense. Just saying.

I remember when Mirabal’s brother was in here telling us that Flowe wasn’t going to Oregon.
I remember that, he also said there was no chance Cristobal and Mirabal would ever come to Miami

From Ivins latest article:
According to Williams, he’s planning to take official visits to Texas A&M, Georgia, Pittsburgh and Alabama – and most likely in June. He adds that FSU might be in the best position out of anyone to get that fifth official visit, although schools like Florida, Miami and USC are also in the mix.
