Husker fan seeking home team guidance

Make sure to spend an evening in scenic Liberty City. Park the rental car and walk around. As the name connotes, Liberty City is Miami's mecca for personal freedom and vibrance.

He's staying in Broward, so he should probably head over to Wilton Manors....not that there's anything wrong with that.

Come to the blue lot and find out... Open invitation bro. Come, have respect and have a good time. Come looking for trouble and talking ****--leave in an ambulance. Your choice bro.

Welcome to Greater Fort Lauderdale and enjoy your victory over UM.

Edit: As far as your initial questions, you would be well served to rent a car as public transportation in South Florida is not very good.

As far as places to go, try the Bimini Boatyard on SE 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale for at least one meal. Also check out Las Olas Boulevard at night.
You name all these beautiful places in fort lauderdale butHow could you not send him down beautiful sistrunk Blvd?

Drive around sistrunk. You'll love the scenery.

Rent a car. Use your smartphone to get around. Get sun lotion as I'm sure you will hit the beach and probably white as paper.

Lastly, I went to the game last yr and was harassed the entire time. The racist vitriol was insane. I was suprised by the lack of intellect from your State, town, and school which is the only thing in that pathetic State. Hopefully your time in SFL is as miserable as my time in that **** Hole a year ago!!

Research car rentals online, a new compact car will be cheaper than taxi transportation. Don't assume the taxi drivers know the area. Leave early for the game, traffic could be heavy even when there is no game at Sun Life (Joe Robbie Stadium, Dolphin Stadium). The shape of the stadium can be confusing and you may find yourself walking all the way around it to find your parking spot. Do not expect Miami fans at home to be like the fans you met in Nebraska, some are morans ;-). If you can accept a serious invitation from a serious fan on this board you will be better off than alone. The fans at JRS are mostly fun and welcoming, but some are "morans."

Check Southwest for online get-away-fares from Omaha. Book early.

Game results aside hope you enjoy your visit.

Cornholers don't like Butch Davis very much.

Can't say that I blame them. He did after all put together the team that cornholed them for the Natty.

Take the $9.99/day hit at Enterprise and whatever the Diplomat is charging for parking and rent a car. You won't regret it. Hit up Le Tub up the street from The Diplomat for a burger and beer on the water too. You won't regret that either. Don't say that nobody from Miami ever did anything for you. I even redacted a tasteless joke about you flying in with Brook Berringer.

Bimini was a great spot but it closed last month. Now he could try Bimini Bay Bar down the street for an "interesting" experience. Google it.

Amazing! The morons on this board don't know how to spell "lose" and now they don't know how to spell " moron"

I think you have qualified yourself as a moran. I remember my first day on the internet too.

East side of Sistrunk is changing. I live in Sol Mar which north side is Sistrunk.....I like whats happening with Flagler Village and Fat Village.

Dear Husker fan, PM me if you have questions as I am a Fort Lauderdale Husker.

Diplomat has a nice course if you bring your sticks. Gulfs team is close is you're into the ponies and casino. Bimini Boatyard was a good recommendation for food. Las Olas ok, but Broward is boring to tears. As far as driving, Sun Life is one of the easiest to get out of.

Some idiot doesn't get the joke.

Morons are often spelled "morans."

Meet is often intentionally misspelled "meat."

Golden is often misspelled, 'Gorldon.'

Staff is often misspelled, "staph."

Many others. It's to throw off visitors from FSU who have spell check, and realize something is wrong, but nor real sure what it is. They know they can't spell, and know UM fans CAN spell, so they get headaches wasting time while reading UM posts here and at the WEZ.

The Cornhole fan I think is gone by now, so this will likely slip right by him too, as he plans an evening strolling around Liberty City.
