How much longer do you give Golden?

Mike Leach will never win anything with his scheme and he doesn't care about defense, STs, or any of that. I don't get why ANYONE would want him as our HC.

He doesn't care about ST's because they never had to punt.
And I'd bet Leach could field a better defense than this.

No matter what happens, he has another year left. I really do love al golden. But if he's too blind to see that some serious changes need to be made to this defense, then he can gtfoh after this season. A talent deficiency is when ur in the right spot, but don't have the talent to make the plays. We're rarely in the position to make any plays on defense. We routinely have guys streaking across the field wide open on drags and crossing routes. The flats are almost never coved, ever! The moment the ball is snapped, our corners immediately bail to the parking lot. What kinda **** is this?

And wats with this boring, unimaginitive offense? Coley is a fantastic recruiter, but fisch would scheme and playcall circles around him
 
After sittin in the bull**** rain watching this bum team, I'm ready for a change. Someone has to be held accountable for this **** pore defense. It's inexcusable that crossing routes and RB flares are still open after year 3! There are absolutely no more excuses and Golden needs to get it right or get out. Simple as that.
 
Golden needs to rethink his defensive philosophy.

Today was a gigantic red flag. He does a lot well, IMO his insistence on this defensive scheme is not one of them. Coley is also struggling as an OC

Coley has a chance to become very good. This is his first year as an OC. Corch D has had many years as a DC with that bend a lot then break bull****
 
D learned from Golden, who learned from Groh who learned from Belichick who learned from Parcells. Same philosophy Bama runs for the most part.
 
I hope someone comes in and snatches him away after this season. Golden isn't going to change that defense. That is the same **** he has ran forever. Better players may minimize some of it, but not enough to win vs good teams, or better coaches.

He's going to be here as long as he wants most likely because he'll recruit well enough to win 9 games a year, and he just got a long extension. But after tonight, it should be obvious he's overmatched against any team with a pulse. You're supposed to get better every week. That's what well-coached teams do. We're getting worse every week.

I've been a staunch supporter of his because of the shtty hand he was dealt with the ncaa mess and cleaning up the Shanntard's toilet. But there's absolutely no excuse for tonight. He ruined the entire season tonight.

D'onofrio is irrelevant.

Golden is a defensive coach. This is his scheme. Anyone think Bama's defense is going to fall apart when Kirby Smart gets a job?

Butch fired Bill Miller, and the next year he was DC for Nick Saban at Michigan State. They went 10-2.

This is GOLDEN'S defense. Guys have to start "getting it" soon. No reason for us to look this confused.

I don't know why people don't understand it's Goldens ****** scheme and golden and his cronies on the defensive side of the balls coaching that is producing those terrible results. Get rid of Dorito and accept that your scheme sucks and bring in a legit DC whom you hand over the reins to and he just may save his legacy here.

Exactly. Saban loses assistants every year and never skips a beat.

If he stays stubborn and refuses to fire anyone, he has TWO years in my book.

He needs to fire Donofrio, Fire Jethro, demote Barrow (because our LB play has been awful too btw) and demote Kehoe (Sorry, this should have been a top OL in the country. Maybe alot of these guys were overrated..But no excuses for this lackluster season out of them. GUARANTEE you that Linder, Felac, Henderson, and Flowers will all be playing on Sundays for 10+ years and people will wonder how the **** we didnt get more out of them when they were here..Smh.)
 
He's done. I hit this same point during Coker and Shannon's reign of terror when I knew he wasn't the guy. He'll never win here.

We just have to wait it out.
 
Golden will lose the fans after a bad 2014 season. He will lose the school after a bad 2015 season.

Having said that, to have your defense regressing in your third year is a bad, bad sign. To have lack of depth all over the place is a bad, bad sign. To be a in a position were we choked away the coastal again in your third year is a horrible sign. NCAA cloud be dammed.

I appreciate Al for sticking by us and for putting his heart and soul into trying to fix this, but I really think today signaled that the clock is ticking.
