How can you blame coaches when theres zero talent?

After the MTSU game...Mario also asked the players..."What happened?" Dude was absolutely completely dumbfounded. He wasnt even prepared to coach that day

Totally agree, and the coaches should have caught this trend in practices, correct this or pull the player off the starting lineup. I’d rather see a younger guy getting in some PT and grow, than an older one taking up the oxygen on the team.

I honestly dont think so..

I think Lashlee schemes through 2 more wins at minimum.

MTSU is one....I'd say would be one of Pitt and Duke as well. Lashlee did well against Pitt last year

Aight i agree there as well. I only see you on the football boards though....and its pretty much just taking up for staff.

Who you like to take up for Coach L as he is up there in age

not sure lashlee or anyone could consistently operate with an already average depleted line

Naw it wasnt framed in that sort of way. Ive been there coaching ball as well. He didnt expect it even though Stockstill had beat up on him previously at FIU with lesser players.

**** forgot that game as well...Yea we beat Tx Am too....I mean Mario played the game just to keep it close like he didnt expect to win....Lashlee wins that one as welll as their secondary is there weakness and we aint really attack them something Lashlee would of done especially with tempo.
 
what we just witnessed has to be the perfect storm of poor talent, poor attitude and poor coaching/communicating/teaching/adjustment to lack of talent
 
This team went from 34 ppg to 17 ppg against P5 opponents from 2021 to 2022.

In one season we halved our offensive production… if that is not an indictment on the offensive coaching I don’t know what is.

Ppl here refusing to place blame on coaches are analogous to having a 360 video of a crime being committed and refusing to call someone guilty. It’s really not that hard.
 
I’ll say that I’ve been curious as to why those big white guys we have at tackle haven’t gotten any burn. Then I saw one come in Saturday and immediately get his **** pushed in and thought, “oh this is why Campbell and scaife continue starting.”

Josh, I mean OP, Manny won 7 games with this dross. And while it may be dross, it's a coaches job to get the most out of the talent, not make it worse.

Our OC waited until GAME F'in 4 to sit down with our ACC rookie of the year at QB and figure out what he liked to run and was comfortable with.

So I'm more commonly on the baseball board. I'll be there all year ranting against Gino. I don't post on basketball at all because I honestly don't follow it daily like the dudes on the board. I have no idea who I would pick in basketball.

Hahaha. L oughta come in here and slap the taste out of the mouths of you guys with this talk. He's 6-1 to start the year and just took a team to the Elite 8 where they were actually beating the eventual champion at the half.

Katie "Can't win a second round game in 20 years" Meier on the other hand? Overrated.

Tomato King Jr and baseball? Should be Radakovich's first firing.
