Golden is making chess moves while the majority of folks that want him gone are looking for the university to make a checker move.

Has ANYONE seen Kayya make the same mistake twice??

He has all the tools, but his ability to recognize and retain information is what will make this kid very special.

The thing is, this does not make me feel at all uncomfortable. Kaaya might not get it done on every play, but more often than not I think he can beat the blitz. He is advanced in his recognition skills...he just has to eliminate the 1 or 2 times a game where he throws it up for grabs between people.

I am getting a good vibe for some reason about this game, and I know I shouldn't but **** IT.

My only concern is that we go louisville offensively, but I think they trust brad enough to not go into a shell.

If the defense stays on this trajectory the program will be back to auto pilot soon. At that point it won't matter who holds the title of HC. Just like back in the Glory days.

Unlike Bama now nothing seemed forced with us no robots. If saban stops they fall of a cliff.

When Miami is good we transcend coaching changes... Auto pilot.

Let's let this season play out. Get blown out by FSU, lose to UVA, lose a bowl game. Finish 7-6 and his seat isn't exactly chilly.

I didn't say anyone in the SEC wants him but if they did they or someone like Penn State would be the only schools he would leave to go to. You don't leave Miami unless it's the NFL or you get fired. The SEC would pay more and Penn State is his alma mater.

I want him to succeed here really bad bc I like the guy minus game day. Coaches who don't succeed are the ones who don't adapt. If he goes back to a soft prevent against FSU and we lose by double digits, he has no other choice but to let D'Nofrio go after the year. He can still run a 3-4 but bring someone with a different philopshy in to run it.

Which means we can't waste him. You gotta capitalize when you get a player of that caliber at the most important position on the field. Ive said this before and Ill say it again. Go back to NSD 2012 after we signed Duke, Tracy and the rest of the S Fl kids we got that year, and ask yourself did you think that in those guy's third year we would be 6-3 going into the FSU game? Most would have laughed at that and said no effing way. That was dubbed the class that was gonna bring back the U, and thus far it has been anything but. When you get special talent, you must capitalize on it, even after the last three weeks which have been fun to watch, I still highly count that can or will happen with this staff, and it is up to the University to see that, which per usual it doesn't…...

We beat fsu and win out then they would be the class that brings back the U. We dominate next year its because the momentum they sparked ignited the fire.

Shannon was a lame duck coach and we all knew it. Now firing him hurt the program? How convenient. Your handle is Central Rockets so you must be familiar with Shannon's recruiting efforts, or lack thereof, at Miami Central. He ignored that school like the Plague and because of that Devonta Freeman wanted no parts of Golden/Miami when Shannon was ****canned. Not only that but we heard numerous reports after he was fired how he alienated local coaches and Golden had to rebuild those bridges.

And what has Golden done to prove he's the man for the job going forward? I'll admit, he was the perfect man for the job to be the face of Miami through the investigation. But now that it's over I question his ability to take Miami to the next step. His on-field coaching leaves a lot to be desired.

You do realize that when a new coach is hired he retains coaches from the previous staff so relationships in recruiting are already built. The coaches that you named are probably the most likely to be retained by a new staff if Golden is fired. And don't compare what Butch went through to what Golden went through. Butch had actual sanctions. Golden had a clowd and received a slap on the wrist. And our recruiting class actually got worse last year after the clowd was lifted and our "sanctions" were known. 9 ships over 3 years is hardly a punishment and we all know that.

Golden making chess moves my ******* ***. Golden has a decent class that should be great had we not lost 3 games before October was over.
