Highest PFF P5 graded OLine -wk1

PFF OL ranks:

2015 (Golden) - 117th Run / 112th Pass
2016 (Richt) - 33rd Run / 24th Pass
2021 (Manny) - 86th Run / 6th Pass

I expect the run blocking to take a huge leap under Mario like it did with Richt.

We haven't allowed a sack in our last 113 passes. That's impressive. The pass blocking has already been really good.

Texas A&M will be a great measuring stick

No sacks in 113 passes is a great stat for sure. Remember the Central Michigan game a few years ago? What'd we give up, like 5 sacks? Including one for a Safety? So yes, it was Bethune and last year Duke, etc. But we couldn't get passes off against literally anyone a few seasons ago.

Stoutland is and always has been one of the best in all of football. He’s viewed as such in the NFL, just as he was in college.

As much as I love Art, a true Cane who was great to listen to and watch on video, he’s not on Stoutland level imo.
Lol...Art isn't on Stoutlands level????
* Eric Winston -1st team AA
* Leon Searcy- 1st team AA
* Brett Romberg- 1st team AA (Rimington Award)
* Mckinnie - 1st team AA (Outland Award)
* Mercier - 1st team AA
* KC Jones - 1st team AA
Now show me what Stoutland did at UM in comparison......I'll wait

Kehoe is a legend at Miami. But I don't think his second stint under Al Golden was wildly considered successful.

He was a good OL coach in his day. But his 2011-2015 stint was not.
That's total BS.....his 2011 and 2013 lines were plenty good....I suggest you Google Art Kehoe....

It's funny you say this because for years now I've seen our RB's take the ball and just run into the back of our OL or hit the wrong hole. Parish seemed to hit every open space with ease. Great to see
Yeah I don’t know if that was the RB’s fault for hitting the wrong hole, or the OL’s fault for not getting any movement and basically clogging the hole, or both.
It was tricky to figure out because it seemed to happen 5-10 times per game under Lashlee.
Lashlee was good for 2-4 really creative pass plays per game that often lead to scores or at least big plays. But the rest of the offense was usually a complete mess.

Kehoe also had Flowers who was a top 10 pick

Only Bethune but hot **** that's a nice improvement to see.
Yeah I get the whole “it’s Bethune” thing

But we’ve played them and plenty of ****** teams over the years and didn’t look that good on offense

Definitely ready for Saturday to see if we keep the momentum against a better opponent

Looks like we had the highest graded PFF graded power 5 OLine after week 1 with a 93.5 grade.

This was pretty evident upon rewatch. We were just clearing guys out of holes with ease.

Obviously opponent was just Bethune, so we shouldn’t take too much out of it. But it’s still a great sign. A couple years from now this OLine is going to be full of monsters

I don't care if this was against Coral Park HS; this is excellent for a Game 1!

It's just a depth chart but Campbell is listed as the starter at LG....could Rivers be the one who kicks over to RG?
