Hetherman had his roughest day at Miami

You are missing the best part.. We had bad knees, box linebacker mo mugged up on los but also supposed to get back and run the pole and cover centerfield LMAOOO :ibis-roflmao-sm3:
I didn’t think it was a great call to begin with. But our two biggest misses were as much dumb personnel decisions.

Asking Mo to cover that much space. And also JJ blitzing while Omar covered over the top

No play on any down in any circumstance ever felt safe last night. Guidry vibes.

It's the first time in two years it's felt that way.

No comparison my guy
We had our safeties out……we all were watching the same game….I don’t know how you couldn’t notice that. He’s coaching with a depleted secondary
I love our fans…..not🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Plus from where Mo Toure was lined up.it was impossible for that to work.
Zero chance.
He was line up on the line of scrimmage on the opposite side of the formation....who do they think Toure is ??? I dont think there are very many DBs period that could make that work from where Toure was lined up.
Head scratching call by Heatherman

yeah, Im not sure Darrin Smith or Jesse Armstead could've executed that particular defense from that alignment

Losing Poyser was devastating to the back end.

Thornton taking out Lucas on the sideline pass was hilarious (only because we won anyway).
I noticed 0 started on the bench and didn’t play until Poyser was ejected. Then we have Fitzgerald play sparingly. Still down our top cb in OJ and Lucas looked rusty, play has to get better but we are down some major pieces in the secondary.

On the long Duce TD, Lucas was in what seemed like press coverage where he was expecting Thornton in help. Omar was in help and cheating into that half of the field but either he was not deep enough, not cheating enough or underestimated Duce's speed because if you look at the replay Thornton had to take a recovery angle to get to the play, which is why he whiffed on the tackle.

You need Fitz or JJ playing that role and it is probably an interception - because Daniels stared down the receiver from the snap.

I need someone to explain to me like I’m five, why every year we have a defensive back that insists on targeting? Do they not know by now…

The bad thing is Fitz and Thorton changed up on that play and Thorton went to free. Fitz was not happy about it. Someone got a call wrong there. I don’t think they were supposed to switch.
