Here's what I know

Men's golf and swimming first (thanks, Dave Maggard).

Why do we not have women's softball?

Cutting men's golf was ridiculous. Miami saves 4.5 scholarships. Men's Swimming is limited to 9.9.

Back to lacrosse, it is 12.6 scholarships for men's and 12.0 for women's. Difference with lacrosse is it is a definitely a prep school sport and those kids come from generally wealthy families with very good grades and academic standing. To me it is a no brainer. There are very few warm weather lacrosse programs and Miami could draw from the right demographic. If you are a Canuck, you would rather play in South Bend or Miami in February? You can play on Cobb in the spring, too.

At least the two that I mentioned are absolute certainties (my roommate was a men's diver, so his sport was saved), and men's crew (rowing) may have been a third. Hard to remember if crew was a scholarship sport or a club sport, they used to practice up at Key Biscayne, so I never saw any of their events.
Growing up my dad and I used to ride our bikes and go fishing on key biscayne. There was a little burger and ice cream place right next to the water that was money

The real head scratcher imo is why no mens soccer.
And the women’s soccer team should be killing it.
we... we have no mens soccer...?

what

Nice. To be honest, we rarely went to the "Village" of Key Biscayne, mostly just Virginia Key and Crandon Park. Believe it or not, there was once a time when South Beach was a ****hole (circa Scarface filming) and the UM crowd went to Crandon. They still had the old obstacle courses from The Superstars (TV show) and the Rickenbacker Causeway was new-and-improved.

UM students would go out to Virginia Key on the weekends, out past the Sewage Treatment Plant, and take as much beer as we could carry. And then hit Sundays on the Bay with hangovers.

Also used to sneak over to the RSMAS bar while we were still underage, they never carded, they thought we were all grad students. Back then, the Cane Card was fairly unspecific.

well one of the 1 of the 3 was exposed. I can forgive the Utah loss with the OSU win. the Stanford loss is what makes me nervous when you're paying 7 mill. either way, hes still a massive upgrade

Oregon OC went to the hospital the morning of the Stanford game to have emergency surgery.

Stanford also started a new QB that game and that dude and his WRs were on fire. Oregon still almost came back and won.

The Utah game, Oregon was a road dog with a flawed QB. Once Utah broke it open with that punt return TD, Oregon had to turn to the passing game and Brown just isn’t good enough when teams know they have to pass.

I remember eating at Sundays on the Bay

Visited Crandon Park as well.

And O had that game stolen in the same way 2002 U had the NC game stolen.
