Here we go!

Kiffin would suck.

Schiano would suck.

Cristobal would suck.

Mentioning 1 makes you a potato and someone who should be castrated with a spoon.

Disagree on Cristobal

That is because you're a potato.

Is there a reason why you call people a potato all of the time?

I call people (for example HughHoney or CoachCane) the K word and they cry to D Money and Andrew. Oh and the porster has a potato for a brain.

The one thing that makes me optimistic that Al's time here is finally ending: the fact that we haven't heard anything about staff changes AT ALL. If Golden was serious about staying, it is basically a GIVEN that he would have shuffled his staff. The fact that he hasn't done that since our bowl game tells me he knows his time is up.

Maybe so.. Very interesting point. It is stuff like this that keeps my hopes up even after the misery that all of us have been through.

I'll gladly grasp a handful at this point.

Golden has boxed himself in a corner, and at UM he's in a no-win situation.

I've been suggesting on a number of boards for months that UM and Golden should negotiate a mutually beneficial resignation. If Golden waits until next season and then gets fired, he'll only see a whistle in high school programs.

If he leave now for personal reasons/family reasons, he will be able to salvage his coaching career.

It's a no-brainer.

I think he needed to find a reasonable landing spot. Too late for personal reasons. Either mutual decision to part ways or needs a landing spot.

Either way. Make it happen already. It is foolishness at this point for everyone involved.

I think he can absolutely pull the "personal/family reasons" card. In fact, it would be the perfect time given earlier reports of his wife being in the hospital. Urb did it at ufayg.

If he uses that card now he can salvage his corching career. If he insists on hanging around here another year, he'll be committing career suicide.

If he leaves now, there are still idiots out there who think he's a decent coach and a good rebuilder type. He will dispel that falsehood next year if he insists on languishing here.

Ironically, Butch could coming in and winning could give him a decent argument with a stupid school

I've been at this long enough to know getting your hopes up when it comes to this administration actually making a good decision is not wise..

But the post above is something I haven't been able to stop thinking about as well. I don't know how, when, where...but I have a gut feeling something is coming.

Might be a train....but I think there may be some hope that the worst coach to ever roam the sideline at the University of Miami might be gone.

I second this line of thought as well.

The people who have sworn to me that El Foldo will be here till 2016 also swore that staff changes are eminent. .and would happen this week. This was said to me after the Pitt game, and even last week, but not seeing anything happen, and given the fact that Goblin has disappeared. ..gives me a twinkle of hope. It is a curious situation. .

First I gotta think this is just mental *********ion but there has been more than one rumor going around that Golden is tired of our fan base calling him out. Now if this is all true ill believe it when BLake is on the podium making it official. As for replacements we need a proven entity who can turn this manure cart around not some has been wannabe or rising star. Build us back and then turn the helm over to the rising star. Look at Oregon for your example. Go get a guy like Patterson who makes gold out of wheat.

Aww poor guy. Our fans aren't sucking his **** for 6 win seasons. Man poor Al! ******* delusional arrogant ******. Win or go the **** away. He's clearly incapable of winning anything so go the **** away.

Thought Golden would be gone when he went AWOL desperately trying to land the Penn State. Assumed it was over after we lost by double-digits at Virginia and Golden's ineptitude saved Mike London's job. Didn't think there was any way he'd survive losing to Pitt at home to make them bowl eligible. Never in a million years did I imagine the administration would be left with any choice but to fire him after we lost the bowl game and had just our third losing season since 1980 in his fourth year on the job.

Any hope that this spectacularly incompetent mother****er won't continue burying UM football six feet deep is lost at this point. It's over. We're f***ed.

I would assume we hear about any changes whether minor or major very soon. The America Coaches Association Convention is in the next two weeks Jan 12-15 and that is when a lot of coaches get hired.

The bich thought he could ride the cloud till infinity. Like Butch said Miami has the biggest advantage known to Mankind. The closest power school to the best players on the world. Yet still lunatics manage to ***** it up with gross incompetence. Then turn and cry and blame. If he wasn't busy recruiting NJ mutants like himself we would have more wins. Dumb bich needs to resign already. No one wants him here. No one

I think Golden is shocked by the vehemence and hatred the fans have turned on him. I think he's shocked that the media has turned on him with everyone calling for his firing. He knows that in the press conferences next year - it's going to be bad.

Golden knows he can't have a winning season in 2015.

And no longer will his BS excuses be tolerated, as they've been ridiculed at every turn this year by fans, the media, sports writers, and even team member's families.

He's outta here.

We need a miracle. If there is no miracle, or an act of God, we are looking directly into the barrel of 12 more months of losses, dysfunction, and awful football.

Help us.

Agree w Archer on this and on the existence of Bigfoot.

It is ridiculous to fumble around figuring out how to fire him at this point.

But not firing such a poison at this point is just completely illogical.

Can't understand HOW Golden can stay here another season. The fanbase, alums, former players, and even the local media want him out of here yesterday. The situation is totally toxic and will get worse with each passing day. Don't understand the administration or this fool that thinks he's a Div. 1 coach.

12 more months?

Try three more years. That's how long it'll take the next coach. This is a complete rebuild. Al Golden sucks at recruiting, this is the worst class we've had in a long time, and the last two weren't very good either.
