I hate this situation but I understand it.
Yes, commit to your dream school and help them win regardless of who is there. On the flip side every high school player in America dreams of playing in the NFL. We all focus on the recruiting aspect of 4 and 5 star kids but EVERY HS player would love to get this best chance to prove themselves at a school that will give them opportunity. Let's face it if you lead the NCAA in rushing someone is going to draft you. It doesn't matter what school you played at.

You could play at BAMA,LSU,UF, MIAMI, Bowling Green or whatever. The league is not going to ignore the NCAA's top rusher and these kids care about getting to the league. Not necessarily school pride. Though a few of them do care about that and I salute those players like Duke and others.

Let's be real if YOU want to get to the league as a RB does it make sense to go to a school with 2-3 other (4 total) 4 and 5 star freshman committed there. Or make your own name elsewhere where you might see carries before you junior or senior season.

I would go to my dream school (Miami) and not give a **** about anything else but that's not how the young boys think. They want to live that rich and famous life. Not the I got passed up on the depth chart and graduated from school life. (Even though that should be the goal)

I take Scarlett last personally. Not that I wouldn't take him but he's the least impressive all around IMO. Williams and Walton are definites and I think Cronk has a slight edge for me based on talent and the fact the I don't believe anything Scarlett says and solidifying Johnson and Irvin would be a big bonus.

IMO, doesn't seem like JC has much effect on Johnson or Irvin. Scarlett does seem to have an effect on Bruce though.

Tough situation all around but a good one to have. Hopefully it all works out in the end.

IMO, while I don't like it, if someone does get "dropped" I think it will be Williams since he isn't a SFla kid. We know how fickle the coaches/"mentors" down here are, upsetting them isn't good for business (it sucks that we even have to think about that).

Bama getting those 4 top rbs was an anomaly. That situation usually never happens. Plus, one the kids already left

what about georgia..... Sony michael, nick chubb, aj turman, todd gurley, keith marshall, jj green all in the last couple class. Why miami cant do it.
Fsu running backs karlos williams, mario pender, dalvin cook, my cousin ryan green, j vickers, they getting patrick and probably harris.
it happens alot and for miami to get back to being elite you dont turn down talent like scarlett, williams, or walton or even JC to appease someone. I can understand that they may have told him that but you cant let this type of talent walk away either....

Add LSU...

Last year they signed Fournette(nations #1 back) and Darrell Williams(4*). This year they already have committed Nicolas Brousette(4*), Derrius Geice(4*), and David Ducre(3*).

NEG.... Ask Tommy Frazier, Tebow, Eric Crouch, Gino,....etc.. being a good or great college player doesn't mean ****. The question the NFL wants to know is does your skill set translate to the league.. point blank period.

No.

All that you listed still got drafted. They care about how your skills translate but they also care about production.
QBs are also a little different college football's leader in passing yards is not guaranteed to be drafted like college football's rushing, receiving, sacks, INT's, TFL, leaders.

2013
RB
1. Andre Williams, Boston College (Drafted) He would have never been drafted if he didn't go to BC and rushed for over 2000 yards.
2. Kadeem Carey (Drafted)
3. Bishop Sankey (Drafted)
4. Tre Mason (Drafted)
5. Kapri Bibbs (Drafted) Another guy who would not have been drafted if Jim McElwain wasn't out there.

WR
1. Brandin Cooks (Drafted)
2. Davante Adams (Drafted)
3. Willie Snead (Undrafted)
4. Jordan Matthews (Drafted)
5. Sammy Watkins (Drafted)

TE
1. Jace Amaro (Drafted)
2. Eric Ebron (Drafted)

Sacks
1. Trent Murphy (Drafted)
2. Marcus Smith (Drafted)
3. Jackson Jeffcoat (Undrafted) for numerous reasons not necessarily production.
4. Jeremiah Attouchou (Drafted)

Int
1. Justin Gilbert (Drafted)
2. Jimmie Ward (Drafted)
3. Derron Smith (Drafted)

Out of the 19 players I just listed 2 went Undrafted. Yes Production matters and that's just 2013.
