In Vegas it's 10X easier too. Safe places to leave your car everywhere and more ride options than any other place I've lived. Stupid decision that will cost him everything and cost someone their life.

You wouldn't be sympathetic if this douchebag didn't play ball. I'm sorry, but some of us managed to not do stupid crap like this so we don't have sympathy for the people that despite being worth millions couldn't be bothered to Uber. Someone is dead because of this guy, I won't shed a tear if he gets jail time.

I haven't. A lot of us haven't been legally impaired driving. If you like to get tanked and drive, that's on you. You have to pound drinks to hit that mark, odds this wasn't a guy out at dinner having a glass of wine and then getting behind the wheel. 3AM, odds are he had been going for a minute. Never mind the fact that this wasn't some little fender bender. You have to plow into a modern car to have that level of damage...

Lack of body fat would probably rule out 2-3 drinks.

Glad you’re ok. I would guess the crash had more to do with driving 90 than smoking weed.

You can not wish whatever you want but he is very likely going to jail. Vehicular homicide (Georgia term) is very challenging to defend, and can be based on impaired driving or reckless driving. From the looks of the car in the photo, assuming that is Ruggs' car, he was driving fast which means arguably reckless even if not impaired.
Now if he was not beyond the legal alcohol limit and was not driving recklessly, then it is only a misdemeanor (in Georgia).
So speed and alcohol will need to be determined before final charges are brought.

I agree, most everyone here has driven drunk brig buzzed is drunk.
I’m guilty myself so throw stones isn’t wise here on CIS .

I myself could be in the same boat many times, I thank the good Lord for changing my path.

I would hope for Mercy , but yes I would do restitution the best I could humanly do plus I would have to live with it playing over and over till the rest of my life.

The greatest release of losing a loved one is giving Mercy forgiveness to the person whom caused the loss.

If I died and the Good Lord gave me a choice Mercy or Justice , MERCY would be the choice.

You never want what you justly deserve, Mercy the clear choice

During The Cheifs SUPERBOWL RUN something happened with a coach/ staff member that got swept under the rug !!!!

If you saying crazy things about Ruggs then you should be saying crazy things about the Chiefs organization and the NFL! 👀
