Original expectations realized? The light at the end of the tunnel? The pendulum swing? The release of mediocrity? The breaking of the Curse of the Orange Bowl?

Or did we just get a lot of calls today and some great QB receiver play by names new to the starting lineup.

There's a real QB on the field covering up a **** ton of warts.
True, but how long since we had a real QB on the field this year? You need a QB to win nowadays. It's about time. Yes, warts are still there, particularly on defense (or lack thereof).

I have to give the OL props. They gave TVD time to throw and opened up some holes for the running game.

Lots of freshmen breathing life into the program

Also why like @Dwinstitles always says winning is overrated with recruiting sometimes

These dudes believe they can change it all
Can we not find freshman for Flagg and Donaldson? There was a play where Pickett ran like Flagg wasnt even there and flagg couldnt do anything, look like he was running with anvils and in mud against freaking pickett..

We were on a roll early in game and Donaldson decided to kill alllll momentum just racking up penalties, after that the scoring stopped pouring in, dude was a impact player for Pitt

You’re witnessing a team that has been jumpstarted by young talent. Young talent that is only on the field bc of injuries. This team is winning bc of injuries. They also have to overcome the hurdles of having idiots on the sidelines coaching them.

The epiphany comes when Blake and Manny are fired and this team wins 10 games next year.

Can't talk about calls without mentioning the 6,482 holds that Pitt got away with. Definitely got lucky on that safety though.

2.5 million for a Defensive Coordinator and 2 million on an O Line coach and we can get Mario cheap in 3 years when Oregon fire him

No.

Line went from awful to decent.

Lashlee went from awful to decent.

TVD is a good young quarterback.

Still, it’s fool’s gold.

We are still riding the razor’s edge.

Do we really trust Manny to buck his track record and develop these young guys to the next level?

The only thing we know for sure is this team has a lot more charecter than most gave gh credit for. Even some upperclassmen are stepping up. 13 was all over Pickett putting pressure on him.

Here is the problem. Does a strong finish allow Manny not to look in the mirror and keep playing the blame game? Because it could reenforce his arrogance and make some stupid decisions about the team’s future like he did last offseason. He was forced to play the best guys regardless of age by injury. That is just one aspect. I don’t trust he has really learned his lesson.
