If you don't wake up with a tiger in your bathroom....You probably aren't that hungover....
let's not foget, alcohol is a depressant in long haul and when you sleep, you really don't reach the infamous "rem" sleep. on top of that, the body never has a chance to rehydrate no matter how much you try. It's a screwed up cycle. That's my 3 centsSo Ima a teacher and I’m going out to celebrate tonight for a friend. I CANNOT have a hangover tomorrow. Stomach head nada! Gonna be done drinking around 9 PM but plan to drink drink drink drink until then lol. Any suggestions on how to avoid this?! Any pills or supplements? Anything??
You are a god amongst mortals, sir.Hangover prevention is doable.
- Don't drink garbage, especially with sugar in it.
- Alternate a drink with a glass of water. You're a grown up. You can do this.
- Before bed, drink a large glass of water with a packet of Vega Electrolytes (not gatorade or other sugary garbage). Leave a second glass of water with electrolytes by your bed. NOTE: do NOT take melatonin or other sleeping aids.
- This water before bed will make you want to pee in the middle of the night. This is a good purge. When returning to bed, drink as much of that bedside water as you can. OPTIONAL: pop an excedrin if you feel a headache coming on.
- In the morning, drink a glass of water. Then have a cup of coffee (no sugar, only low glycemic sweeteners like monk fruit, stevia, erythritol, or allulose) and pop 200 mg L-Theanine. OPTIONAL: 500mg ginseng. NOTE: Another form of purging will likely result. Mazel tov.
- Breakfast (whenever that is, don't feel rushed to it) should be moderate protein, moderate fat, low carb (and no fructose at al if you can swing it). You may crave sweet or greasy starches, but you will suffer consequences if you further indulge.
All good advice. My standard breakfast was at Denny's couple eggs anyway, toast, hash-browns or home fries, sausage with side of bacon and some OJ and coffee. If I made to 163st in North Dade then it was Ham&Eggery for whole slice of center cut ham, bone-in, withe grits and toast plus OJ and coffee.At 9:00 PM switch to water. Lots and lots and lots of water. Right before you go to bed take two or three aspirin with FOOD. In the morning make sure to eat a large breakfast filled with protein and some anti-oxidants.
You'll still be less high than the kids anywayIf you do a third bump at dismissal in my book the only fair thing to do is to drive one of the school buses yourself to be absolutely certain everyone gets home safe and sound. Stay hydrated though with a fresh 3pm Everclear and tonic.

Agree. There are definitely some things that can lessen the severity of a hangover (I was huge on crushing extreme amounts of water and popping advil before I went to sleep), but if you drink enough there is nothing you can do that will make you be 100% the next morning. That's why when you have something important the next day, the 'hangover remedy' is simply to make sure you don't drink too much.Nothing works

This is what our education system has come too. If you jump off a big bridge with concrete under it would solve your problems with a hangover. Caffeine is in soda pops. I'm not trying to be an expert . Stick with easy access. Plain simple: OXYCONTIN with a beer. I'm just kidding, done it and been there. thank u that's over.Drink a can of pepsi not the bottle.
Always good to keep some powder in your desk at school.A very large bump of cocaine before you leave in the morning and then another one at lunchtime.
Or you can just drink some Pedialyte before you go to bed.
