Gus 240lbs?

The successful trend for Oregon & NFL teams is to have their skill guys slim down & lose weight but if this staph had their way the RB depth chart would be late-career Jerome Bettis, Jorvorskie Lane, Shonn Greene & Nate Ilaoa. The 90s Big 10 wouldn't stand a chance against these Canes.

I'm with you on Golden excessively fattening up some players that shouldn't be, but what NFL teams are having their skills cut weight?

Rushed for 100+ vs VT , how many defenses better than vtech do we really face ?

How many defenses are better than va tech? Very few is the answer and they have one of the best dlines and db groups in the country. Edwards also ran powerful during the bowl game as well

he probably isnt 240, but big which gives a good compliment of shifty, powerful, pass catching, and speed backs

I've been driving the Gus Bus. He's going for 1500 this year. Somewhere along the way, the dopes gave him a bad rap and everyone ran with it.

He's got the type of speed that surprises defenders because he glides. He'll be destroying angles all year.

Derrick Henry of Alabama is 6'3 242 and ran a 4.5 flat at Alabama testing day.... guarantee he is a 1st or second round pick

you guys might not agree but with a great season i think Gus could go higher then Derrick Henry in the draft i don't see what the big fuss is about with that kid hes good but he lack that suddenness that allusiveness that most good NFL backs have.

The biggest problem Gus had was something everyone noticed immediately: he ran like he had a steel pole straight up his ***.
Last year he looked like he understood that running straight up is detrimental to his health and success.

I will admit he finally started to consciously lower his pad level while going through the hole toward the end of last season. Hopefully he keeps that up otherwise I fear for his longevity.

Ice Harris was a great hire.

If he is 240 and still doesn't run people over & run easily through arm tackles, the dude seriously needs to lose his scholarship.
You can't be 6'2" 240, and not run people over. We'll see if he's changed from last year, but I'm not holding my breathe. Last year, every time we got in the redzone, he'd come in, and our offense would stall.

Gus is looking like Ron Dayne! This "weight issue" is the new crusade for the retards on this board.

You still havent learned that youre the ******?

Retards tend to struggle with self-awareness. I'm friends with a ****** who thinks he's a jackalope.

Look at these two jagoffs replying to my post because they're offended. Stick to crying about whatever the Cane-bashing topic of the day is ladies.

Only a nitwit like Schibetta would be crying about someone replying to his post on a message board. Isn't that how message boards work?

He also ran for 12k yards in HS, has a burst and is a better goal line runner than any guy under 209lb on his team. Just 3 differences.
