I was ****ed when he was hired, because I knew it was a lazy move. I'm still ****ed because I know it's not going to get better with this guy. He doesn't recruit, he doesn't have an eye for assistants. Miami may bottom out here in the next year or two. Problem is that there's little chance that when Diaz gets canned that Miami will be by far the best job on the market. That's what makes Diaz's hire so infuriating. Miami had a shot to go after **** near anyone at the mid major level, because there wasn't some huge state school looking for someone. That will probably never happen again.

And the first time since Butch we could hire a coach without paying the former one. What does flake do? Hire Shanny within HOURS after claiming that he'd conduct a "national search." Lulz

But no one knows how’s to organize it. I remember we flew one last year, do you know who organized it because I’d like to get his help on this?

After the beginning of the UNC game, all the alarm bells started ringing. He is in WAY over his head. The sooner we get rid of him, the better.

Manny had me fooled. I thought this would be a good hire. He talked the talk. Then he hired his staph...I was confused but optimistic still. We lost to Florida. We looked bad. I was still optimistic. I was super ****ed after UNC, but still willing to hang in there. I was ****ed off after Cmu and started to question Diaz and the program.

Now I am done. This guy cant do it. He is a coordinator at best and has no business running a 5 time national championship powerhouse program. This was a bad hire and Manny can slick talk better than Al Golden. This program is so bleeped. We hired a fan to be our corch. Plain and simple.

This is not going to work. We have huge problems right now. James needs to go. Diaz needs to go.

Manny & Co have a lot to learn before next year. I didn't expect the motivation and penalty problems from this team. I expected the defensive slide and awful Oline play but we can't overcome the bad coaching right now. Put all the gold away, put the exotic blitzes away, get back to basics. This better be a different team next year.

Of course I'm serious. Now what I will say is that Va Tech's coaching staff mitigated their O-line woes with something very simple. They used their fast backup QB on draws and got effective yardage. They ran, ran, ran (with little effect) with the HBs and finally lured up our DBs and passed it with success. Those are clearly defensive failings by the coaching staff. If you want Miami to do what Va Tech did, just put Jeff Thomas in at quarterback and have him run it 18 out of 20 times.

But with the skill position players that Miami has, the offense should be better. The terrible - terrible offensive line is negating all of that. QBs have no time to throw and are getting hurt. WRs have no time to get downfield. Running backs have no openings.

This theory isn’t 100%. Didn’t Dabo come from Tommy Bowden? Jimbo Fisher came from Bobby Bowden regime. But I agree that in hindsight we shouldn’t have just given the job to Manny.

Manny's first year as head coach is also our first year with a Defence full of his recruits. So he has no excuse for the D becoming so **** poor. The playmakers he's had on the side of the ball up until now were all Golden recruits. It blows my mind to see a Miami Defence with such little playmaking ability. These kids just look average. They have actually regressed on every level of our D.

He had no head coaching experience and because of that, he has no idea how to help Enos or manage him. That side of the ball hasn't shown improvement and Manny can't hold them accountable unless he does the same to all his "yes men" on the D.

I only watched 15 minutes of the game. I can't take it anymore. Honestly, none of us deserve this. Manny will be given time, though its time he does not deserve.

For anyone who is going to continue watching this mess. I wish you the best. I'm not willing to give any more of my time to something that upsets me this much. Fu<k that.

I’ve already highlighted both Fisher & Dabo in another thread. Bowden already had sustained success at FSU; Dabo got hired b/c of his interim position. Regardless those are anomalies.

I was standing up for Manny 6 weeks ago saying people need to give him a chance. I saw all I needed weeks ago. After what we’ve seen over the past 15 years - We know better.

As distasteful as it might be for some, I want all of you who have been assailing guys like @We the Boss,@Canesmang, @OriginalGatorHater, @OBLIVION, @Dwinstitles, @rokulika, @WhatTheHell, @NicKane, @TheEye and others while defending this corching staph, to step up after what we’ve seen, and either confirm your continued support for this shîtshow staph or disavow your previous support now and acknowledge, like I have had to, that unfortunately the mega-mopes were right.

Let there be no doubt who stands where. And that includes you down low, non-posting downvoters. If you don’t step up, you’re getting called out and you’re getting torched for being low down pûssies.

I was in the same boat an supported Diaz, but I'm done after yesterday's game and will not be renewing my season tickets. Currently giving away my season tickets (club section 248) and not wasting my time with this team anymore

I gave up investing in this program after the 2013 season. After being at the Duke game, at Duke, where DNo's horrible defense gave up 48pts. I just told myself I am not paying to go see this **** anymore. I did have optimism with Diaz since he did actually improve our defense, we at least had one side of the ball that was rising to a potentially championship level if the other two phases could at worst, be complimentary. I will always root for the team, the players but I am numb to having mediocre coaching staffs at this point. I enjoy football too much to go on tirades on message boards about coaching. A few weeks back when Manny was talking about the terrible practice, I responded on a thread that the proof will be in the pudding. If the same players have the same roles the entire interview was lip service and it turns out it was. That's the opposite of changing culture, playing time is really the only thing players care about. Manny has a terrible coaching staff, outside of Enos. Enos is the only qualified coach for his position on the staff, maybe the oline coach as well. For this team to come off two bye weeks against mediocre teams and get outscored 45-10 in the first halves, those 2 games alone are enormous red flags for how bad his staff is. Our only hope is that Manny replaces most of these hacks because Manny isn't going to be replaced after this season. Blake Baker's red zone defense is at DNo trash level. Its all just really ******* sad to be honest.
