I think getting beat by 58 points to any team is more humiliating than what happened to day. I think Miami's 48-0 loss to UVA in 2007 is worse than what happened today.

I tried to believe. I posted about it today basically saying there are too many guys I feel have perspective on this board that have said Manny is in over his head. That said, I hoped it worked. Those guys preaching were right. Sad day.

The program is I knew it is dead and gone. Admin collects ACC check, AD is a boob, lazy hire. Game over.

Do I get the tattoo removed is the next hurdle for me to jump. That is where I am at. I wanted it to work but The Patriot League with BC is the best bet.

The man is old and his best coaching days are behind him, but I'd love to see him get a shot at running the program from a higher altitude. It's probably about the best this program can do at this point.

And oh yeah....after that....CLEAN ******* HOUSE.

It's all coming down to the offensive line.

The offensive line neutered the Canes offense in the North Carolina, Central Michigan, and Virginia Tech games. It's historically bad. Like year two of starting up a college football program bad.

The offensive line got Jarren Williams hurt two weeks ago. Quite likely that's why he turned into a turnover machine today.

That spotted Va Tech great field position and basically won them the game.

Now there are other issues - defensive adjustments, that stupid penalty after the TD, kicking, and having TD rings come out when you're down by 28 points. But the offensive line issues are paramount. It would be no better if Richt was here - probably worse in many respects. I'm not sure how Manny and staff fix that. But it doesn't matter if everyone else - QB, WR, TE, and HB are four star players. If our line is playing like 1 and zero stars, if not negative, all of that is negated.
 
HC's are only as good as their record. Manny is a loser so far. Miss me with that "it's his first year" bs too. Team has 0 resolve in all 3 phases of the game, consistently starts slow and many of the players that were good last year have regressed. He's bumbling the QB situation as bad as Richt did. This is why you have a national search.

Yeah, I agree and I don’t care about 1st year. If that’s the case, then he should have cut his teeth at Temple.

I’m just numb. I’ll be the first to admit that I was cautiously optimistic at the beginning of the season. Even after the loss to the gaytor; I was still somewhat encouraged. No longer. And the sad part is that I don’t know what the fix is because there seems to be so much that needs fixing.
 
Here's where I'm at:

Blake Baker needs to be fired and replaced by Manny Diaz or an outside hire. I don't care if he still Head Coaches as long as Manny coordinates for the defense.

Bubba Baxa needs to be replaced by literally anybody--Tonight. ****, let Jimmy Murph kick the ball.

It's time to put the Turnover/Touchdown props away. Swag is fun. Fake Swag is cring~ey.

I'm at the point where the rest of the season we should go deep into the bench and get lots of reps for all our stringers for the next season. The writing is on the wall. We are likely not going to be bowl eligible. Might as well go down the roster as far as you can go and get experience where it matters most. Throw in the true freshmen--all of them. Give them a taste of play time and something to look forward to and work hard for in the off-season.
