Golden's in home with Cook tonight

Idk what to think about this guy, with him I'm going with follow the visits, the big thing that scares me about FSU is when he mentioned freeman being like his big brother and mentor along with their successful season. Also its silly to think florida is completely out, the truth is the incoming freshmen could make a big impact with an already stellar defense if they stick. I'm going with the U on this one, family attending all home games, sending AG to the home visit, last official.
 
Everything just looks like Um has the chance to close but will we? This will be the all time close on a recruit if AG and Hurlie can do it

From used car salesman to boss, how does he do it.
 
If he met w/ Brewster from FSU I like our chances. He was such a dbag when he was the head coach up here. Used car sales guy all the way. The radio stations still play his crappy sound bites all the time making fun of him. He claimed he'd bring the gophers to the rose bowl. "Get your chili while it's hot boys" etc etc. All kinds of stupid slogans. All talk.

-Met with Cook's father and grand mom for an hour, and made up a plan to meet with Dalvin later in the evening, he told Canesport at 9:15 PM

-Talked to his family about how bad they need him and how he should stay home

-Says Canes are definitely under consideration

-Will make final decision after title game

-Main recruiter is Hurlie Brown, likes him a lot, talks to him about more than football

-Darling and Yearby are in his ear a lot, Golden had in-home visits with them also

-Thinks some days of staying home, says mostly everybody grew up a cane

-Decision will come down to being the most comfortable with coaching staff, says "Im very comfortable with the Miami coaching staff"

-Teams talk about UF offense
-Gators selling improvement and he is their key
-FSU Tim Brewster visited last night and Golden today

Luckily Golden was able to visit, and not Jimbo for FSU.
 
I am pretty sure it was mentioned earlier in this thread that all positional coaches from other teams visited. Golden came in at the end to solidify that we get the last on-campus visit Cook will have.
