Rodriguez played a really good game aside from bear hugging the defender on Fletchers TD runThe drop off from our first DL to the backups is significant. And Lee is sooooooo much better then Rodriguez.
Right….but I’d expect that against Temple. I’m not sure we get the same performance against a Clemson or FSU.Rodriguez played a really good game aside from bear hugging the defender on Fletchers TD run
Mario doesn't disclose injuries, but they've all been saying he's fine. What was the diagnosis? Concussion? Stinger?
If that’s the case. Looked worse than it was.
Injury’s are coming, unfortunately. I also have PTSD from last year.
So you think we have no chance of outscoring UNC or FSU in a shootout with our QB, this OL, & the weapons at RB & WR running Dawson's scheme? Obviously we want our DL healthy. But that is nonsense. This season’s outcome will depend on our injury list. Guys like Lee, Deen, and Mesidor are irreplaceable — three of the best players on the team.
We absolutely NEED them for games like UNC, Clemson, FSU, etc.
I think we can handle GT in two weeks, but after that I have major concerns, especially along the DL. If we can’t pressure guys like Maye or Travis, we’re ****ed.
Good win yesterday. It feels great to be 4-0 and to have won convincingly in every game. Praying we can get healthier over the bye week before we get to the meat of our conference schedule.
I didn’t say that. But we would be sweating a lot of games out. I don’t want to be a classic Big 12 team winning games 45-41 each week.So you think we have no chance of outscoring UNC or FSU in a shootout with our QB, this OL, & the weapons at RB & WR running Dawson's scheme? Obviously we want our DL healthy. But that is nonsense.
He's bendy but seems to lack the explosiveness and power to be an elite edge rusher.Any chance Kelly is that bendy, edge threat we desperately need? Haven’t seen it yet
I dont disagree but we have better depth along the lines then we thought going into the season. Every team gets injuries and outside of a few schools they can be detrimental. I expect a fully healthy team come GT minus MesidorRight….but I’d expect that against Temple. I’m not sure we get the same performance against a Clemson or FSU.
We need Arroyo. When will we see Arroyo?
Did Zion Nelson retire?
No insider info but it does seem that those guys would have played yesterday if it were Clemson or FSU.haven't heard a direct quote but it seems like mesidor, lee, kinchens will be fine for conference play
deen I think is an unknown but he'll have been sitting for a whole month by the time we need him so at least it happened when it did
This. Nobody on our schedule has significantly more depth than we do.I dont disagree but we have better depth along the lines then we thought going into the season. Every team gets injuries and outside of a few schools they can be detrimental. I expect a fully healthy team come GT minus Mesidor
I do. When we see if he’s walking into the field to start or not in 2 weeks.Would love a real update on Lee, but I don't know when we'll get one
My heart stopped when Lee punched that ground.Same and my PTSD is related to the positions of depth that cost us this year are predictable, like the ones last year were predictable.
