I didn't follow the entire clusterf*** of a thread that the original one became. But I remember what started it all off was a tweet directed at SBB, who's apparently leaning towards making a soft verbal commitment to the Canes along with Ridley this weekend, that appeared to be yet another blatant shot at Miami on social media.
Put all the other s*** aside. As harmless as that may have been in the eyes of some people compared to the other issues, Genron appearing to dissuade yet another elite South Florida recruit from committing to Miami, especially coming on the heels of the way the Valentine situation has unfolded, was going to get him absolutely crushed on this board. His anti-UM comment to SBB was completely unprovoked and further destroyed the seemingly impossible-to-believe perception that he's actually a Miami fan.
The lies about Duke and TH3 on Facebook further damaged his credibility with this fan base, IMO. Whether it's fair or not, I'd be concerned if he was a trusted adviser for any future recruit we're hoping to land. ****, one tweet to SBB had my jimmies rustled because he and Ridley are such great talents and we're a year away from next year's signing day. S*** is crazy.

Someone posted contact info to Valentine's high school and people started sending emails there trying to get Genron fired. Accusing him of all the things everyone around here accuses him of.

The only mod who defended him was Pete, and that's because he knows him personally. Pete's reaction was a natural one.
