I don't see the love affair with Mullen his offense was around the 60s last season.. 15th in 2020 and 30 in 2019. what am I missing? yes he develops QBs for sure but his offense isn't exactly lighting the country on fire like a Lincoln Riley style coach

Gattis is stubburn..

look I know we're all sour about the loss but it's time to move on, gattis deserves better.
 
Got a lot of modern OC out there. Jimbo is seeing the game pass him by. Hope Mario adjusts his style before it passes him by also. No doubt Mario got the bag, but his football career is in question

I don’t see the infatuation with Mullen either. And I would question his QB development. Kyle Trask his most high profile qb over last 5-8 years?? Eek.

I'm no one, not an insider or anything but I strongly feel like Gattis will be not be OC next year. Strong enough put a ban bet on it.

He wants badly to be a HC and this year hasn't been good for that. If he's not let go he leaves at the first offer he's ok with.

Bama hasn’t been run first for a few years now. They pass to set up the run, that’s why they have qb’s and wr’s wimmung Heismans. That said you want balance or at least enough of a run game to run it situationally. My issue isn’t that i want to pass sixty times but more space , better play design / creativity and playing to kids strengths. I agree with Mario wanting to be physical I just don’t agree with his philosophy on offense or at least the philosophy he’s shown the last few years.

Space, space, and more space. It stresses defenses and makes them cover every inch of the field. We make it so easy for defenses, **** I’m calling plays like I did back in the Patrick Nix era.

And TVD or Jaccurri can thrive in a spread, may look different with them at the helm but a good OC can make it work.
