I love it so much. The subheaders on the right are unbelievably good.

On a related note, I’ve been trying to keep my husband abreast of the Lane/UF situation this whole time but he didn’t care to hear it. He, too, lived in Gainesville for two years and agrees that Gators are insufferable and arrogant and yet his interest in college football is only tangential and is limited to (gross) the actual games. I finally forced him to listen to the Cliff’s Notes version in the car on the way to the doctor today, and he still wasn’t amused. The man kept a straight face the entire time and told me he was just happy that I was enjoying the drama.

(This is why I spend too much time with y’all on this board, clearly.)

But of course, now that the NEW YORK POST is involved, and he realizes that the gossip is big enough to warrant Page Six’s opinion on the latest southern white **** measuring contest,

AND that one of those ****s belongs to a man named BILLY GLASSCOCK,

Now he is invested.

Now he is laughing (out loud).

And now he gets it.

So in a way, the Post may have just saved my marriage!

(Kidding.)
Brilliant

HOW? 10% tithe on all Mormons?

This **** is wild...
They have one of their Rich boosters willing to pay his salary directly. They are pulling out the big steps too is basically met with one of the highest religious figures in the state trying to guilt trip him a little bit, but from everything I know contrary to public opinion the direct church money does not go to BYU not that it’s hard to imagine how the same people do the same things. Right now it’s not really about his salary, though it’s more about coaching pool and all the other things.

My wife got interested in Mormons and started going down the rabbit hole on them a few years ago. Tons of $ circling in that community that does not get much attention. How else can you afford to have that many wives?

I'm fairly certain this is still true, but the Mormon church is the largest single landowner in the State of Florida.

The Mormons own a massive swath of land on the east side of Orlando and Kissimmee called Deseret Ranch. When I was growing up, the Central Florida Council of Boy Scouts would have annual "camporees" on the ranch, which I hated because it was just big and flat and filled with cow manure. The Mormons are developing some of the land into the city of "Harmony".

Yes, there is a LOT of secrecy and a LOT of money/assets hidden in the Mormon community.

Did you see the BYU crowd when our bball team played them in state last week? It was a home game crowd for them

Who, Mitt Romney?
Lol

No Jason McGowan- founder CEO of Crumbl cookies is one of their top dogs. I don’t think he’s quite a billionaire, but that’s just from checking public net worth conversation conversations which may or may not be accurate but he’s worth a **** load of cookies and recruits.

All I know is that we dodged a major bullet by not hiring Kiffin when we had the chance. He was my first choice, but those that said that he’s always looking for the next best thing were spot on. The way that he left Ole Miss and the way that he treated his staff and kids was buns. Dude is a loser.

If he doesn’t win bigly within 3 seasons those Cajuns will come after him with pitchforks and torches.
Naw they’ll come after him with Machetes and Frog Gigs….

Cal needs to hire Tosh. I like Rolovich but Tosh is going to get more talent there than Rolo ever will. If he is their OC, they could be very dangerous.

Sitake is a great HC. The fit at Penn State would be like Brian Kelly going to LSU. Sitake seems like BYU to the core to me. It just doesn't make sense to me. Same could be said for Brohm but I'm not sure Louisville will pay him anything that would compete with that deal. The money difference may be enough to lure him away.
well penn state saved themselves by blowing it with sitake or being leveraged again. wonder if brohm really will consider it or just leverage again knowing he was their X choice- and UCLA might want to make sure the ink is dry with Chesney
