So I guess he will get that money but will it be matched at Ole Miss or do you think he just wants the Gator job?Lane. That's the number I've heard including assistants, overall package.

If they some how pull off Lane thats good for them.
But I think if they dont get him it will be another higher similar to Napier, Mullin, etc. A "hot name" who you hope is as good as his the numbers show (whether he is a def or off guy) and not just a guy lucky to be a part of an overall good program and looking good because of it.
I'm prepared for them to be let down...so much of these hires isnt just about coaching. You need the right fit. The city, the type of kids that are attracted to that area, your staff, NIL, the current roster, how quick you get buy in from the kids, your first 2 recruiting classes, etc etc.
I genuinely think they’ll go whale hunting and end up with Fisch. Which he’d be an improvement on Saturdays but I’m not sure how he’d do recruiting wise.If they some how pull off Lane thats good for them.

Tbh, he’d be better than Lane. If they somehow snagged him that would probably be the best coaching hire of the cycle unless someone swoons Saban back into coaching.Brohm’s going to leave his alma mater?
I don’t want them to get either but I think I’d rather it be Lane as well if I have to choose between them. I think Brohm is that good.Tbh, he’d be better than Lane. I doubt he leaves though. I could be wrong, but I thought Louisville had a pretty aggressive NIL operation.
It would take something monumental for him to leave Louisville. I only know this because my father-in-law is Louisville alum and plugged in thereTbh, he’d be better than Lane. Summerall is waiting for UK I think…I have heard Auburn has interest in Sumrall. I think the best Auburn can finish is 6-6. With the roster they just gave Freeze, he is getting fired. When's their bye, early Nov.?
I really think UF should be looking at Alex Golesh also, but I understand after Napier. I am very surprised Fische isn't a finalist. I wasn't high on him as a OC here, but he has won me over.
That dude is a piece of ****
The only thing I could ever see him leaving for would be the pros. Everyone has that one job, and he’s at his rn. Crazier things have happened, but they seem committed to doing right by him which is always 95% of the battle. It would take something monumental for him to leave Louisville. He loses 1-2 more his seat is going to be blazing in December…it’s already warm to medium warmAgree on Michigan and Auburn but the latter is a very mid job. Zero chance Kelly gets canned this year. If they lose 1-2 more, his seat will be warm for next year, though.
I don’t think key brohm or dillingham or Lea for that matter are leaving their top 10-25 Alma matersBrohm’s going to leave his alma mater?
