I’m not gonna lie I love SEC shorts, especially when they clown the gators for even one second

I've said it for months and hammered it again last week after watching Long Island.
You know what he is? A kid who looks like he hasn't practiced much, and is very young. He needs reps. He didn't play a ton last year, and he's been hurt for literally a year. So, he's still raw, and he's fat and out of shape. This kid was a true dual threat player in HS. He's not Cam Newton, but he can move. Did you guys watch the first 2 games? He's a statue.
Again, this isn't High School, but he ran for almost 1000 yards and over 15 TDs his senior year of HS. He can move. Well, he COULD. Hamstring injury. Shoulder injury. Sports hernia surgery. Calf injury.
He's been hurt for an entire year. Very few reps, and he's fat. That Chipotle card they gave him is their worst enemy. Dude looks slow and out of shape. He's much more talented than Anthony Richardson, though. No doubt.
But I tried to tell anyone who'd listen all summer that they could be in big trouble with this kid, because he hasn't played. He threw 190 passes last year, that's like 5 games worth. And then he didn't practice much at all the entire off-season. Now he's hurt again, and can't (or couldn't for a while) even run. He looks like an offensive guard. He can't evade the rush, his dual-threat ability is completely sapped, he's a pure pocket passer and Billy runs a High School offense.
I will reserve my full comments for the evening of 9/20, because obviously they can beat us. Anything can happen. But this was so ******* obvious for anyone with a brain, but of course UiF fans didn't wanna hear it because he's the second coming of Christ. Just gonna go win games with no reps, yeah we got it.
Bro, hold onto it cause it's not gonna happen.
Okay. I believe there's somewhere in the middle that are arguments can be met. You're talking in absolute facts that you know for sure his mistakes are all due to injury and lack of practice. And I'm telling you that even if he was healthy and practiced all spring, he would have still threw that last int 100/100. Which he lauched a 1000 feet in the air while rolling out. A great example is Cam Ward. He has been healthy pretty much his whole career with tons of practice but there's still mistakes he made, like throwing across the opposite side of the field. Those are things that just come with a QBs playing style. Lagway is a gunslinger who their trying to force to play like Mertz and Trask.
***** it, no need to hold it in lol….play calling be darned, 2 played bad. My homie and I even said after last week win that it LIU knew our tendacies but didn’t have the talent to match up with us. We even mused that #17 looked better than 2 and is probably a better FIT for this “offense” since we believe 2 is more of an Air Raid QB, not some strategic Tom Brady pre 2007 QB.
If I recall, the knock on Miami and Carson beck was that he was injured and missed practice time. The media made it out that a two year starter will struggle because of that missed practice time. Then in the next breath they have been climbing over each other to declare that lagway, who missed as much practice time, is headed to New York for his heismanI'm not talking in absolute facts. I'm saying what I'm saying because the Gators DENIED that the injuries and the missed practice time would be a factor.
How MUCH of a factor is anyone's guess. That's a fair discussion.
We are beginning to get a "merger" of sorts, between the injuries/missed practice time and the poor coaching/playcalling. You mix all that together and I could definitely see a loss of confidence and some mental errors entering into the discussion.
But by no means do I think all of Lagway's problems are "mental". Or unfixable. But perception will soon become reality if the kid doesn't heal, can't practice, and has to deal with all of Slingblade Billy's bull**** during the games.
As for your last sentence, this is pretty much what we were saying last year too. You've got the fastest WR on the field (Eugene Wilson) and they keep running bubble screens and short passes to him. This is why I argue that the problems are bigger than ONE GUY having "mental" lapses. Slingblade Billy is literally using ALL the pieces of the offense incorrectly, and he is wasting MULTIPLE players' talents:
---Lagway playing hurt and then being asked to do stuff that he can't currently do with his injuries and zero practice time.
---WRs who could stretch the field are being fed bubble screens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
---Any RB who gets into a groove (particularly Jadan Baugh) are suddenly put into a deep freeze.
---Do the TEs even play? Are they even used in pass patterns? It certainly doesn't look like it.
I can agree with some of your analysis, but this goes beyond Lagway.

That's fair and you made great points. I'll be 100% honest and man enough to say that.... due to my absolute hate for that team in gaysville, I am in no position to give a totally fair assessment of any of their players. I want all of them to suck and fail so yeah, I'm definitely typing with biasness. If Lagway ever transfers out, we will revisit this on more fair grounds. But yeah, I do agree with majority of what you just said.I'm not talking in absolute facts. I'm saying what I'm saying because the Gators DENIED that the injuries and the missed practice time would be a factor.

Translation:That halftime interview by Billy was ******* magical. We joke about Mario being a caveman, but this living potato makes Mario look like a ******* Rhodes Scholar.
Upvoted OP…
Let’s not forget that they JUST gave their POS AD an extension and raise too…
Yeah. God knows I hate to give them credit for literally anything, but this is exactly what they do. They look like a 3 win team every year and somehow manage a few wins we didn't see coming. By the end of the season, people think they're a good team with a tough schedule. They're terrible in the best way, but I wouldn't write them off completely. They'll probably beat lsu and manage a win against Kentucky for once. And they'll beat at least one of these legit teams on the schedule too. In the end, they'll be a 7+ win team somehow. The good news is that leaves them pumping billy up again for a great season next year. Not to stop the tears but i could honestly see them going 2-2 in those next 4 games. Its just what they do. They suck, then they give their fans hope and then they suck again. Losing to lsu and us. Beating shady manning and a&m. Watch
Oof. I have bad news for your soft-*** son.
It's not until I read this comment that I realized they meant "suite" but that's just dem gatas flexin their mental prowess.**** they’re buying the guy a”suit” for every game….![]()
Easiest money on the board today…and I got 18and a half….![]()
Oh.. I thought you were gonna come up with some craziness like usf is the best team in Florida. lol I wanted you to keep your status as a welcomed type dude. Lagway for sure needs to play better or it's going to be a very long season for you guys.***** it, no need to hold it in lol….play calling be darned, 2 played bad.
