They view him playing against USF as a must, since getting his first reps of the year against LSU would be a terrible situation.

"It's a minor injury because we really need Lagway to play and I have blind optimism."

"It's a bigger injury because Slingblade Billy likes to keep secrets and lie to the fanbase."

He was like the #2 QB in his class and originally signed with Tennessee...he's travelled more than Tyler shough, I think he's from georgia

Marietta, GA. Top 100 recruit. Recruited by Mark Richt who, you know, used to coach at some school in Georgia.

Enrolled at Tennessee in 2020 as COVID was hitting. Transferred to UNLV in 2022. Transferred to Louisville in 2023. Transferred to Florida in 2025.

It’s really remarkable.

Last year before our game I told this guy we’re were going to beat their as**ss in the swamp. He laughed it off. Evidently, was radio silent after the game

Nothing is better than @TheOriginalCane telling us on game day last year how some gator was chomping at him and MiamiGatorMike of the 247 gator board telling his board how embarrassed he is after the loss and how he even chomped at some cane in the Publix parking lot that morning. 😂 of all the people on both sides of it 🤣

Now because of my past work reading their board i actually had a photo of the dude and made it a gif option a while ago. TOC is this the culprit? Minus the athletic build of course lol

I spoke to my guy at UF that talked to Napier on Wednesday. He also said the injury was Minor and he actually expected Lagway to be a “regular” participant by the end of the week (this conversation was on Wednesday) - He said he isn’t worried about it because Lagway was in a boot last year and missed 1 game and came back to “beat LSU/OleMiss” (although I don’t think his 52% completion rate helped them much)

I also noticed he had a total of 0 rushing yards in those games (technically -9 yards against Ole Miss), OleMiss CHOKED that game away and Brian Kelly is Brian Kelly. If Lagway doesn’t return by Sunday questions will really need to be asked. Every day missed is massive for them. He can’t afford to miss any.

We will see if Lagway participates by end of this week

This is some world class hopium.

First, the "why" of Lagway needing a boot last year may be completely different from this year. Trying to equate injuries "because boot" is just hilarious. As for "beating LSU and Ole ****", I wouldn't consider:

13-16 for 226 yards and 1 TD
and
10-17 for 180 yards and 2 TDs to 1 INT

to be the reasons for those two home-game victories. In reality, the home wins were due to the fact that the defense gave up 16 and 17 points in those two games which, at that point, constituted Florida's two best defensive efforts against teams NOT named Samford or UCF.

The more relevant point is that 2 of Lagway's first 4 games in 2025 are road games against Miami (who crushed Florida last year) and LSU (who should have beaten Florida last year).

If the Gator fans think that DJ Lagway will just keep getting better every year with no practice whatsoever, that is up to them and their delusions.

FWIW he said today that Lagway is already out of the Boot. They have an open practice tmrw and he said he’d let me know how he looked. He also said that the “box score doesn’t tell the story” about DJs stats against LSU/Ole Miss lol

But of course it applies to Beck and his INTs since he wanted to harp on the fact that Becks decision making is “very questionable and now he will have less talent around him than at UGA” so they don’t expect much out of him.
