Another 6-6 season (give or take one game), a dead-end bowl filled with opt-outs, a rush to the transfer portal and a swamp full of negativity.
The Sharkhumper lasted 2.5 seasons with a 22-12 (16-8 SEC) record — and it's pretty unlikely Sun Belt Billy comes anywhere close after his 6-7/3-5 start and the (likely) lack of a quality QB next fall

I wouldn’t say all of that. There hasn’t been an issue with our NIL since it’s inception as far as compensation with other players on the team or incoming recruits. This seems more of an isolated situation than a sign of things to come. Time will tell though
He’s having a hard time with it.
Not Napier? Damage control for a HC dead on arrival lol. If u got to defend Napier the fan base already turned on him lolThey're going to a Bowl?
They finally figured out BN is trash them boys waiting for the reset lol. I remember when we hired Diaz I wanted him fired the same day. Have the Florida tax payers fund it maybe? Lol
You’re saying this in a thread focused on them for 5 years and thousands of posts and we don’t play them much either. There’s very little I can’t say about them but this is a tough one. LolYou'd think they might wanna focus on Tenn or UGA, you know teams they actually freaking play against.....idiot *** fan base.
I don’t see how they recover for 24. This is going to linger. They’re not going to show much on the field either.I think they're ****ed this year in recruiting. That said, if they reconstitute, they could recover of the NIL front for '24.
I hope they don't, and I hope we negative-recruit the living **** out of this.
Regardless, Bagway ain't going there.
Are there Gators in denial?7 stages of grief ...
... This will be the gift that keeps giving
- Shock
- Denial
- Anger
- Bargaining
- Depression
- Acceptance and hope
- Processing grief
Agree with your final sentence. Rashadas breached LW NIL contract, so they should repay any funds given. GC breached contract with Rashada, so I doubt Rashada owes anything back. If anything, Rashada should be entitled to damages as his NIL value is now lower.I would say this...
If Rashada flipped on Miami and repaid Miami...fair...
Thus, if Rashada backs out on Florida, I could see where repayment is fair...
BUT...
The keys are:
1. Was any money to be paid UPON SIGNING AN NIL? If so, Rashada wins, Collective is screwed.
2. Was any money paid BEFORE the NIL was repudiated by Eddie? If so, Rashada wins, Collective is screwed.
Hard to predict without seeing the actual contract, but I could understand a generalized feeling (by the Rashadas) as to "why should we give any money back, they are the ones that breached the contract".
Bagway…no way!I think they're ****ed this year in recruiting. That said, if they reconstitute, they could recover of the NIL front for '24.
