Looking at some context clues of this recruitment it sounds possible the gators have this backwards and Miami had a price they were sticking to and that rashada has wanted to go to Miami the whole time but was trying to drive up the price. I know their delusional fan base can paint a picture they are superior to us in every way, but outside of depth chart they do not have one thing better than Miami when it comes to football, coaching, and commitment to being a top team in the country.
He gets free day old bagels from the breakfast sandwiches. What can AR's NIL value possibly be? A 25% off coupon for Chick Fil A?
They think the sec is like a dream sequence from happy GilmorePersonally, I love their fiction that the sec is CLEARLY a better place and obvious choice for qbs than the ACC. Even though the first qb taken in the last two drafts was from the ACC
Wow, talk about overpaying someone! What a reach!!Sun Belt Billy's buyout is over $40M.

Why did they think it was worth giving a P5 guy a 7 year contract? The yearly is a reach as well but whatever, you believe in the guy but why the 7 years? Make him prove it.Wow, talk about overpaying someone! What a reach!!

Mario vs ole Billy lol
Gotta love the narrative they’re trying to formulate that Billy is some master bean counter risking his entire career by diligently allocating their resources
They felt seven years and the fourth highest salary in the SEC was appropriate for a guy who’s never coached a P5 program?
The only logical reason for them giving him that contract is that their BOT are also huge fans of Gator TearsWhy did they think it was worth giving a P5 guy a 7 year contract? The yearly is a reach as well but whatever, you believe in the guy but why the 7 years? Make him prove it.
Those Gators need to get out more. They talk about "SEC stadium experience". I would love to have a stadium experience at Hard Rock with UM vs UF (except I don't see UF being ranked anywhere near high enough for us to play them unless the AD's agree to a home and away). They would be shocked to see how loud that stadium is ... just like ND back in 2017. Would be epic.
