I mean I’m tired of the jabs. That’s all over the rest of the board. I am happy to start a similar thread where no one can insult any board member, including the gaytor member. I tried to do that already and it was merged here and as a result, the gaytor member was let back in and given the same rights. I get that the Gator Tears purists want to continue on as they have. They can have this and that will resolve it.

I don’t think we need two Gaturd Tear threads.

Having gator86 is fine as long as he’s not defending their program. It defeats the whole purpose of this.

I fw gator86 overall but he can’t be doing that moving forward.

I’m good doing a different thread with whatever screenshots I want that has dialogue with the gaytor without going nuts on a different viewpoint and leaving this one to be a no defense of the gaytor under any circumstances thread as it has been.

For me personally, I feel like I’ve evolved from that where I want unbiased information and related discussion above all else but I don’t want to force my way on the purists in this thread.

I'll say this, I'm tryin' to be all about peace-and-love in 2021. I also don't tolerate stupid porsts or stupid porsters, so I'm still going to land some targeted kicks in the nards whenever necessary.

All I saw was FlaGaytor making a comment about Strickland maybe should have been looking around, that it was bad strategery to wait around on Mullet to honor the verbal commit.

Problem is, I think many people looked poorly on that comment because of FlaGaytor being the one who was saying it. If a Miami fan said it, there would have just been some some disagreement, and then people would have moved on.

I don't see FlaGaytor's comments as some sort of full-throated defense of UiF, Mullet, or Gaytorz Nation Brand.

Let's all relax, breathe deeply, and move on to the next item on the agenda. Maybe some folks are just uncertain how to channel their anger, now that Manny is making good hires and landing top transfers...

I hate the gator as much as any Cane, but for the life of me, I can’t understand why some have got their panties in a bunch about 1 gator participating in this thread - or any other for that matter. Especially one that has not been disrespectful or argumentative even when he’s been attacked unmercifully. As a matter of fact, he’s been pretty straight forward and unabashedly critical of the gator fans and their staph.

If he was to get out of hand, I have no doubt that one of the maudes would end the courtesy of his participation abruptly.

Soooo, thoughts on the Gaytors...

1. Trevonte Rucker - SAWWWFT Gaytor verbal - WR - Ocala - Gaytors #4 best recruit (Rivals) or #7 (247) - seems to be an issue with grades. For once, the Gaytors did something smart in not allowing him to sign, thus if he fails to qualify, they will not lose an IC. Gaytors might be able to salvage something here if they pull Destyn Hill from Louisiana. But Orgeron convinced some LA kids to stay with LSU even in these difficult times, and Gaytors whiffed on all the ESD Gaytor Brand Flipz Machine candidates.

2. Javonte Gardner - OL - Orlando - Gaytors #7 best recruit (Rivals) or #19 (247, guess he didn't get that Gaytor Brand Bump from Bing Bong and Evil Ivins) - seems to be an issue with grades. Again, the Gaytors did not sign him (smart). Again, Gaytors would turn lemons into lemonade if they could get Tristan Leigh out of NoVa.

3. Charles Montgomery - WR/ATH - Tampa - Gaytors #8 best recruit (Rivals) or tied for #10 (247) - not sure what the story is here, may also be grades. If Gaytors lose both Rucker and Montgomery, Destyn Hill only fills one spot. Portal solution would be likely.

4. Deyavie Hammond - Gaytor verbal - OL - Lakeland (HS) and now JuCo - Gaytors #16 best recruit (Rivals) and #22 (247) - not sure what the story is here, as he is a JuCo and should not need GPA/SAT to get in. This is an interesting name to watch, as he was a 2019 Gaytor signee who failed to make it past UF admissions. Thus, I do not believe he counts as a 2021 IC...BUUUUUT, if he fails to make it back to UF, I don't think the Gaytors can just give out his 2019 IC. Gaytors need to work hard to get this kid in, he's a free pass.

5. Adrein Strickland - OL - Gaytor verbal - Panama City - Gaytors second-lowest-rated recruit, just ahead of super-long-snapper Rocco Underwood (Rivals and 247 agree on this) - I would definitely hazard a guess that this kid will be processed out if the Gaytors hit on ANY of their Regular Signing Day Gaytor Brand Flipz Machine candidates. But, as seen above, the Gaytors might be losing THREE long-time OL commits, while only having 1 bullet (Tristan Leigh) in the Flipz chamber (plus Austin Barber). Portal solution(s) seem likely.

6. Tristan Leigh - OL - NoVa - Thirsty Gaytor "recruiting class calculator" nerds would ***** out their mothers to get a 5-star, but UF is not in Leigh's top 5 (and Pops Leigh lives in Oklahoma).

7. Terrion Arnold - DB - Tally - At least the Gaytors made his top 5, but he's likely to join pal Xavian Sorey at UGa. The Gaytors “passed” on Arnold. In other words, he’s going to either Alabama or Georgia so after 2 years of chasing him Mullet’s trying to save some more face.

8. Destyn Hill - WR - Louisiana - Remember how we thought it would be a longshot to pull Maason Smith out of Louisiana?

9. Bryce Langston - DE - Ocala - This one might happen. He's down to UF and LSU, and he IS from the massive Gainesville-Ocala metropolitan statistical area.

10. Portal Portal Portal - go crazy. FIVE TRANSFERS SO FAR, BRO!!!

Just pay attention- I didn’t originally attack any poster here, except for calling out the gaytor. The other two guys jumped in with jabs, I just jabbed back. Maybe they should have kept their mouths shut to begin with. Just look at the timeline.

I don’t ever want to derail this thread, but when people jump in like that they’re the ones doing the derailing. It’s just clear as day.

And as far as the ****, I don’t care either way if he’s here or not, but if he’s going to defend the program, and if he’s going to defend their horrid recruiting practices, especially by blaming some dumb kid, I’m going to go hard at him.

If you or anybody else can’t handle that let me know and I’ll just bow out gracefully. I insulted his fanbase and coaches, and I will continue to do so, and I’ll be there at every turn every time the despicable program is defended

That’s a major part of me starting another thread. This thread is unique and it has traditionally not tolerated anything but 100% gaytor hate, even acknowledging that we’re biased and don’t care that we are.

I want something different now. I welcome honest dialogue but this thread isn’t concerned about honest dialogue and I think that’s fine for this thread. It got to 1800 pages the way it has under the rules it’s lived by but I’m seeking something alternative to this.

It’s hard for @flagator86 to function fairly in this thread given that dynamic and I don’t want to force that on the purists so I think a thread with different rules, reflecting the values I believe in - and other like-minded posters believe in- is the alternative. I don’t think I’ll have Tears in the title this time.

If I do this, I’ll welcome flagator as an equal part of it. I’ll thread ban him from this one, and add @Jaxson Villain back into this thread but exclude him and anyone else who wants to hurl insults in that thread, with infractions as well. Nothing against him or them either though. I’m just good leaving that stuff in here and going my own way.
