It would be a perfect Jets move. They DID hire Rich Kotite in the 90's, and their franchise was so bad, Bill Bellicheck left them at the altar.

As cruel as it is to say; he might be to UF what Richt was to GA. Consistent winning seasons, schmoozes the boosters, gets you 8 or 9 a year.

Maybe they hadn’t played a non conference team who was any good in so long, they actually believed that Oklahoma was no different than their regular non conference opponents
