This kid’s Dad seems like a genuine NIGHTMARE.

I doubt this kid who seems very quiet and mostly reserved is behind this ****ery but it’s laughable they took money from Ruiz and then renegotiated with UF and now potentially are being shorted on the original payments. Would make me so happy.

Think if this really is an NIL issue, that family is about to drag UF in the media. This will hurt their recruiting moving forward. A bunch of these schools got their guy already, this kid might be **** out of luck now.

This was an issue before the NIL. I told a story a couple years ago about how they were supposed to move a player and his mother to Gainesville. They were also going to bag them. The kid ended up leaving months later because he didn’t get the money or his mom moved up. This is why I always say “ get that **** up front” if you choose UF.
