They haven’t had a TE that can function on the field in almost 15 years, so they’re “choking” with excitement like a meth addict and “shooting” anyone with a different opinion

18. Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

Pitts is the prototype of the modern split-out tight end. He’s just 239 pounds at 6-foot-6, but that size still makes him a matchup nightmare in the slot against much smaller linebackers and safeties. Pitts became Kyle Trask’s favorite target last year, catching 54 passes for 649 yards and five touchdowns. Those 54 receptions are the fourth-most by any Gator in a single season since 2007. Pitts might be the most important player on Florida’s roster heading into 2020, especially when you consider four of the team’s top wide receiver options graduated following the 2019 campaign.


46. BREVIN JORDAN, TE, MIAMI​

The most reliable pass catcher for the Hurricanes the past two years, Jordan has compiled 65 catches for 770 yards throughout his career. Those numbers don’t pop off the page like they do for some other tight ends, but Jordan’s also suffered some pretty abysmal QB play. There’s a bit of projection involved here, too. New offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee is no stranger to using tight ends, especially those like Jordan who are basically slot receivers. SMU tight end Kylen Granson led AAC tight ends last year with 721 yards and nine touchdowns. Expect Jordan to have a similar level of production his junior season. He should see targets early and often.

That's one of the benefits of our modern, internet driven media. So much new content comes out that they're not often called out for these ridiculous takes as long as they're telling someone exactly what they want to hear.

Idk if he’s even in the league anymore.

He’s a TE when it’s convenient for them to call themselves DBU. If you look at the screenshots of them talking about what they’ll do if Grimes, Copeland and Toney opt out, even they’re saying “No problem. We can put Pitts there. He’s really a jumbo WR not an in-line blocker.

the ones who are trashing Tae should be aware that their own commit (randy russell?) from Carol City (cams year) also lost his career due to a medical condition (nto saying tae will lose his and by all accounts he wont). these are still just kids at the end of the day. fans from all schools have to realize that it aint that serious if a kid goes elsewhere. its their life not a fans life. they have to live it, sit in meetings, practices, etc not the fan.
