JB is all about the team and has been winnin his whole **** life
MARIO mismanaged this (and others) position and y'all still refuse to place the blame where it should be placed.
****...put ME on the sidelines for the NCST game and I woulda won it with JB at the helm...

I will say this ... it was total and complete bullsh1t that Mario/Dawson never played JB this whole season. There were multiple series where having a dual threat RPO QB would have been tactically the superior decision. Especially that 1st and Goal v Louisville and the entire 4th quarter vs BC.

He’d be a fool to stay after being ignored. He’d be letting the abuser know he’s a willing victim.

most (not all) of the guys that go in portal and never emerge are not from p5. They may downgrade but they usually land

So we’ve decided that he was for sure taking a shot at the coaches? Just want to be sure.

His social media has undoubtedly been FLOODED with people wanting him to stay and play the bowl game, and then subsequently loving it when it came out he’d be playing, when many if not most people here and on other sites had written him off before the season. I promise you he’s seeing all that, and it makes way more sense that he would put that out there in response to that than taking a shot at the coaches, imo.

We’re doing the baseless ****ting on the same guy that we just went through this with lol

That would be worse than what has happened to him. If that’s the outlook, might as well pack it up and focus on his degree. I believe he can play QB somewhere if not here.

It was not "a lie". Particularly when you have a "TVD is back, y'all" starter and a pretty competent freshman ahead of you.

But once Emory got hurt, Jacurri has been ready, willing, and able to play in 4 games.

Doesn't help matters when the coaches are telling Jacurri to "be ready", and then not calling his number AT ALL.

I mean not getting him in at least in the 4th at BC WAS INEXCUSABLE

I truly hope JB has a fantastic bowl game and lights it up. Then many teams will want his service and futhermore I hope he becomes a star elsewhere. The kid has nothing but represent the U and his teammates are very well. As far as Mario is concerned he has mishandled everything in the QB room like an amatuer and has caused so many problems for this team. To let TVD play and see him leave is an absolute travesty. Mario is a big DUMB DUMB!

I mean...

The two games against Top 10 teams were each decided by 7 points.

As for the BC game...I got nothin'....

Anyone who didn't SUSPECT that TVD MIGHT be hitting the Portal after the F$U game...and look at how quickly he announced the Portal decision....TVD has known his own mind for the past few weeks.

So they knew TVD was leaving. It's been hinted in this board for weeks.

Dawson should have come up with some packages for Brown even in the close games against FSU and Lou. Why not?

But BC. Zero reason not to play him the entire 4th quarter. I can't think of a single good reason why they didn't.

I don't know if they KNEW that TVD was leaving, but you have to at least consider the strong possibility. Particularly given the Alabama flirtation, the ongoing dissatisfaction with his NIL not being the highest on the team, and the possibility that a junior with some pride might not be happy to be benched in favor of a true freshman against the best team on the schedule.
